It's been several weeks since I last posted a Face Of The Day look so I thought I'd do one with a twist for you all, one using high-end makeup and then the second look using drugstore dupes! Aren't I good to you guys :)

If you read my blog frequently you will know that I like my high-end products but I do LOVE my drugstore products too, and when I was looking through my ever growing makeup collection I realised I had dupes for nearly everything I own so I thought it would be good to do a face of the day where it was one look but giving you the option (and pictures) to show you what amazing dupes you can use to create the exact same look!

High-end Makeup

Drugstore Makeup

FACE

High-end Foundation: Estee Lauder Double Wear foundation in Pale Almond £29.50. This is my ultimate holy grail foundation. You can check out my review of this just HERE and read about why this is my holy grail product.

Drugstore Foundation: L'Oreal Infallible 24 hour Foundation £9.99. I do like this foundation BUT it's doesn't give me quite the same coverage as Estee Lauder Double Wear and doesn't have quite the same staying power BUT I do like this and it does last on me for around 8 hours, compared to Double Wear that lasts around 12 hours on me! You can read a full review just HERE

High-end Concealer for under the eyes: Estee Lauder Double Wear Stay In Place Flawless Wear Concealer in Light £21.50. I love this concealer, it's perfect for days when I need extra coverage underneath my eye. This is a little light for me but sometimes my eye area needs a lot of brightening up!

Drugstore Concealer: L'Oreal Paris True Match Touche Magique Concealer in Natural Beige £8.19. This is hands down my favourite drugstore concealer and one I will always go repurchase. It has good coverage without it being too much, yet it's easily build-able if you need that extra coverage. It's also slightly highlighting too.

High-end Powder to set foundation: MAC Studio Fix Powder in N5 £21.50. Another holy grail product for me. The coverage is amazing and it really does help keep my makeup in place without looking too powdery!

Drugstore Powder: Rimmels Stay Matte Powder in Standstorm. £3.99. Now this is the first face powder I ever owned (although I used to use the lightest colour back in my teenage days) and up until last year it had been years since I'd used it. It is a great powder, especially for the price, but the packaging isn't great and I do find I feel and look too powdery when I wear this, but it does a great job at preventing oil from breaking through.

High-end Bronzer to contour on my temples and carve out non existent cheek bones: Makeup Forever Mat Bronzer in 30. £28.50. Ok I can imagine you're like WTF to that price BUT I bought this at IMATS (check out my haul just HERE and it only cost me £18!) Now I've yet to review this, but plan to, so all I will say is that this is an AMAZING matte bronzer BUT it hasn't beaten my favourite bronzer though! I only use bronzer to contour nowadays so I tend to only go for matte bronzers.

Drugstore Bronzer: Makeup Revolution Medium Matte Bronzer* £2.00 The matte bronzer is a new product for Makeup Revolution and I actually have a review of this coming up next week (with swatch comparisons with highend bronzers) so keep your eyes peeled for that. I will say it's my favourite drugstore matte bronzer by a mile! I'll reveal more next week!

High-end Blusher for on my cheeks obviously!: NARS Blush in Orgasm. £22.50. Again another item I picked up from IMATS and boy have I been after this for some time now... it's just booootiful! You can guess the dupe I'm sure..

Drugstore Blusher: Sleek Blush in Rose Gold. £4.49. It's true what people say, this is a spot on dupe for NARS Orgasm BUT I kind of prefer Orgasm just a touch more.

EYES

High-end Eye Primer: Urban Decay Eyeshadow Primer-Potion Original £16.00. I always wear a eye primer no matter what and this was the first primer I ever bought and has continued to be my favourite primer, it really prevents my eyeshadow from creasing and keep it in place for 12 hours+

Drugstore Eye Primer: ELF Mineral Eyeshadow Primer, £3.50. Ok so this doesn't seem to be available any more and I have tweeted ELF several times but they haven't replied to me once. This is hands down my favourite eye primer and actually is on par with the Urban Decay primer potion, so I'm kind of heart broken that this doesn't seem to be sold anymore as it keeps my eyeshadow on for 12 hours +. Luckily I bought two last time I placed an order so I will be ok for some time now. I should have used another primer for the purpose of this but totally forgot.

High-end Eyeshadow: Urban Decay Naked 3 Palette, £37.00. I adore this palette, you literally can go from natural to dramatic in moments! You can check out my review for this just HERE I used the colours 'Burnout' and 'Dust' all over the lide, then went in with 'Trick' in the crease and deepend up my outer V area with 'Darkside' I also used 'Darkside' to line my lower lash line then used a 'Dust' again, just in the inner part of my eye.

Drugstore Eyeshadow: Makeup Revolution Iconic 3 Palette, £4.00. Firstly this is a total dupe for the Naked 3 Palette, in fact I posted a comparison review of both of these palettes just HERE There is side by swatches of all the shades next to each other. I basically used the same colours with the drugstore look, except I used more of 'Dust' on my lids, which is why the colour looks slightly brighter.

High-end Gel Eyeliner: Bobbi Brown Long Wear Gel Eye Liner, Black, £18.00 Another product that I picked up at IMATS, seriously go check that haul out! I plan on reviewing this too. I love this though, it's so easy to apply and seriously doesn't budge all day!

Drugstore Gel Eyeliner: NYX Gel Liner & Smudger, £8.00. I adore this gel liner. This is the product that changed my opinion of gel liners, as before using this I really wasn't that keen on it. 3 months after buying this, I still adore it and it's still as creamy as it was before... but guess what? I also reviewed this just HERE so go check that out for a full review with some pictures too!

High-end Mascara: Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara, £16.91 (£19 everywhere else) A very recent purchase for me and I have a review of this coming up next week so I won't say too much BUT ever since I see the gorgeous Wayne Goss review this over on his YouTube channel I knew I needed this!

Drugstore Mascara: Maxfactor False Lash Effect Mascara, £10.99. This was my holy grail mascara for yeeeears. I never bought another mascara aside from this for years, because it was amazing. It still is, but I like to try out different mascaras, but tend to go back to this all the time. If you want to know what other mascaras I like, I wrote a Top Picks of mascaras just HERE

I don't own any high-end brow products... yet BUT lately I have only wanted to use one product and that's L'Oreal Brow Artiste eyebrow Pencil in Blonde, £5.49 It's so hard to find the right blonde brow pencil so when I found this, I haven't wanted to risk switching things up too much!

Left Side: Highend Makeup                                                       Right Side: Drugstore makeup

The total value of the High-end Makeup comes to a whooping.... £216.60... damn!! that's without skincare too.. eek! Where as the Drugstore Makeup comes to... £60.64!!!

HUGE difference there! Personally there is some things like my foundation and powder that I wouldn't want to permanently switch up BUT the rest of the products are easily replaced with these dupes!

What side do you prefer? Can you tell a difference?
