Paleo Grubs. It’s the quirky name for the everyday paleo cookbook.  I ordered a copy online from this paleo grubs book review page 2 weeks back and have since been busy cooking up a storm in the kitchen, working through whatever recipes take my fancy. There’s over 470 included in the book so it’s safe to say I’m not going to run out of ideas anytime soon. That said, the recipes I have tried so far have been fab! My family is also enjoying them too which is great and makes me feel like this could turn into something sustainable and worthwhile. The cravings for things like chips, cookies and pizza (which aren’t allowed on Paleo) were hard to handle at first, but have since faded away and become (thankfully) more manageable.

It always surprises me how accustom you grow to old diet habits and how quickly the body can adapt to a new set of rules. As for results, I’ve noticed my hair and skin coming in thicker and stronger and no longer suffer from mid-afternoon energy crashes which would usually require a ‘hit’ of sugar to keep me going. As for the Paleo Grubs book, I’m thrilled with it. It’s comprehensive, affordable and full of variety. Did I mention it comes with desserts, too? Who would’ve thought natural, non-processed desserts without sugar could be so appealing! If you get chance, I encourage you to check it out. Again, here’s the link.
