February 2017 - El Quelite Mexico
This isn't quite a walk, more of a driving trip since we are going to a town about 20 km from Mazatlan. Willie will be our ride, chauffeured by Bill.
Our main destination is breakfast.
As we turn off the highway and head into town the road is lined with bougainvilleas.

You're not going to believe how many photos I took in the restaurant and I'm not even including the food photos. AND we've been here before!
It's name is El Meson de Los Laureanos.
Outside the restaurant the sheep are fenced in to keep them away from the chickens and roosters.
Across the street.
Bill is feeding the peacock.
There are many different dining areas.
Crazy rooster!
Looking straight up.
The ladies' washroom, the taps are flutes! The men's has a stone pig as a urinal.
This little guy was outside helping his sisters get their table set up to sell some tourist items.
Bill and I photobombing John's photo.
Such a pretty town!
I have pictures here of the church from a previous year.
Heading back out of town.
Back in town, Bill stops at El Cerrito on the beach.
Carol takes us to see a "cool" trailer park. Talk about crazy! These trailers are permanent, they have all kinds of built in amenities under their palapas.
These are frigate birds.
Just another working day.
These restaurants get their fish right from the fishing boats outside.
Time to go, there's a tequila sunrise waiting for me by the pool.

Sincerely, Paula
