1. Starts with L
2. Week's Favorite
3. Critter
The first two will be the same, except we’ll work our way through the alphabet. The second can be a favorite image or activity from the week. The third will be different each time.

September 2016 - Toronto ON
Starts with L - We live on Lake Shore in Toronto along the shore of Lake Ontario.
And i'm going to include another Lakeshore or Bord du Lac in Montreal as we were there a couple of weeks ago.
While driving along Lac Saint Louis we came across this Library sculpture.
.
The book-theme sculpture aims to recognize the historic educational contributions the nuns made since the Congregation de Notre-Dame was founded by Marguerite Bourgeoys in the 17th century. After about a century in Lachine, the nuns moved to Pointe-Claire Village, dubbed The Point, in 1784. The current convent was built in the 19th century and was used for teaching proposes until the late 1950s. While it was then used to board students and house teaching nuns, by the 1970s, the convent building became a retirement facility for nuns.

WEEK'S FAVOURITE - taken at Toronto Islands.
My macro shot
John's macro shot but he forgot to turn off the fisheye lens. I like it!
CRITTER - I was seriously worried about this choice for this week as I couldn't envision any critters other than squirrels in my agenda this week. However, we spent a day at Toronto Islands and wandered through the amusement park, now closed for the season, and discovered that the farm animals were still there, probably feeling lonely after all that summer attention.
John took this photo, and it made me laugh as soon as I saw it.
