As the company's first Marketing Manager, you’ll be a key player in formulating the marketing strategy and driving execution that will generate qualified business leads for the company. Job Description:
Lead Gen Management and Digital Marketing (approx. 80% of role)
Generate qualified B2B sales leads through effective marketing
Own and manage a budget
Develop and distribute content to drive brand-awareness and ultimately qualified sales leads
Manage all marketing-related website initiatives including (but not limited to) SEO, weekly blogs, press releases
Publish a bi-weekly newsletter
Represent company brand conference engagements
B2B digital advertising including LinkedIN optimization, Google Adwords, digital sponsorship with key trade publications
Coordinate with internal teams to pull data to support creation of compelling stories to support marketing and sales efforts
Performance will be measured by quality and number of leads; target of 250 qualified leads in 2017
Sales Admin Support (approx 20% of role)
Manage databases (specifically in Excel)
Build proposals to be sent out to clients leveraging our in-house software to produce quotes for clients
Candidate Qualification Requirements (in order of importance):
Analytics skills
2-3 years of B2B marketing experience
Storytelling skills through; strong candidate will be able to take data, draw out compelling insights, and be able to present to a client in a compelling way.
Strong hands-on experience with Excel
Passionate about digital marketing
Nice-to-have:
SQL skills (primarily querying)
Experience with CRM tools (especially Salesforce and Marketo)
Graphic design experience
Retail experience
Bachelor's degree
