A veteran journalist slams the leaders of the Catholic church for their bias towards pedigreed rich and the high society in viral post.
Journalist Ira Panganiban took to Facebook to share his incisive observation of how the Catholic hierarchy treats rich Filipinos with a rich pedigree differently from the rest.
Panganiban cited the example of former President Erap who asked the help of the Catholic church during the critical period of his presidency but got turned down because he does belong to the “old boys club”.
The Catholic church also joined the rally against Erap in EDSA, forcing him to resign from the presidency.
Panganiban said, the church does not like Duterte because they see Duterte as a mere “interloper from Davao.”
Panganiban said that the church is rallying behind de Lima despite his immorality simply because the pedigreed rich is her ally.
Panganiban accused the Church of supporting de Lima despite knowing that this is against the teachings of Christ, even this is scandalous to the Catholic church, despite knowing that is getting obvious and irritatting to the people, what matters to the church is money. Ouch!
Panganiban lamented the sad state of the Catholic church today.

Ang mga kawani ng simbahan ay tunay na sa pera at alta sosyedad kumakampi.
Kailangan para kampihan ka nila ay pedigreed rich ka dahil ang tingin nila ay royalty sila. (Look at their history.)
Kaya nang humingi ng tulong ang mga pedigreed rich sa kanila para kay Leila De Lima ay mabilis pa sa alas kuwatro ang dating nila.
Pero naalala ko noong panahon na si Erap ang humiling ng tulong sa kanila ay tinalikuran nila ito dahil hindi siya miyembro ng “old boys club.”
Inalipusta pa ng mga pari ng EDSA Shrine ang mga nag-rally doon para kay Erap at tinawag na mapanghi, at mabahong mahihirap ang mga ito!
Ngayon, ayaw ulit nila kay Duterte dahil hindi siya “taga-Maynila” at isa siyang “interloper from Davao.”
Hindi bale na immoral si De Lima naaminadongumaapidsa may asawa. Hindi baleng protektor siya ng mga kriminal.
Basta kakampi siya ng pedigreed rich at inutusan ang kawani ng simbahan ng mga apo ng mga peninsulares at insulares ay doon ang direksiyon nila.
Hindi baleng mali na sila o taliwas na ito sa turo ni Hesukristo. Hindi baleng na-eskandalo na ang simbahan. Hindi baleng obvious na sa bayan na nakakainis na sila.
Basta ang importante ay kakampi nila ang pera!
Ano na ang nangyari sa kanila? Papaano sila naligaw ng landas ng sobra-sobra? Bakit pa tayo naniniwala sa kanila?
