|Text = Judge Dale was the presiding judge in a case where an Idahoan Environmental group was trying to block a two-day hunting derby. The derby which offered awards of $1,000 for both the largest wolf killed and the most coyotes. Judge Dale declined to issue and injunction on the derby thus allowing it to occur. There were no wolves killed in the derby.<ref>
