**Position Summary**

The CIB NBIA Program, which is part of CIB Oversight and Control, is responsible for facilitating the NBIA process for the Banking business globally including daily management of each phase of the process in accordance with established NBIA policies and procedures and identifies areas for enhancement to the existing process, when applicable. The Global Banking NBIA Lead will be required to oversee the NBIA review process and maintain standards that are compliant with the JP Morgan Chase Enterprise Program deliverables to develop a firm wide NBIA policy and consistent procedures and practices across the firm. Scope of the reviews includes both pre and post launch implementation reviews and supporting documentation to evidence required reviews and approvals have occurred.

**Key responsibilities**

* Facilitating agenda and materials as well as hosting Global Banking NBIA Governance Committee meetings
* Providing ongoing guidance/training to Product/Business Managers as it relates to the NBIA process and alerting of any key changes
* Monitoring key metrics to ensure approvals and post launch reviews are completed timely, and also managing the administration and ensuring all documentation and approvals are maintained within the SharePoint site.
* Defining and aligning performance metrics for success that will enable Senior Management and appropriate regional and global Business Control Committees (BCC) or Control Forums to assess and have insight into key risk indicators
* Assisting with coordination of required deliverables for regulatory/internal audit/corporate requests and reviews.
* Participating in ongoing efforts to move to a well functioning tactical/strategic NBIA management tool.
* Ensuring there is effective risk assessment and governance processes to identify and manage risks related to initiatives that meet the criteria for NBIA review
* Maintaining and updating NBIA procedures and guidance as required consistent with the firm wide policy and provide clear direction to key stakeholders that participate in the process regarding their roles and responsibilities
* Developing effective controls to ensure initiatives or process changes requiring NBIA approval are appropriately identified and managed early in the life cycle, including post implementation reviews when required
* Ensuring the end-to-end NBIA review process is managed to JP Morgan Chase corporate standards and policy, maintaining comprehensive documentation and record keeping that will enable effective audit trails and quality assurance reviews
* Leadership and support for ongoing efforts to refine and develop consistency in Concept Review/NBIA templates, tools and reporting currently being leveraged across all the Consumer lines of businesses in conjunction with the execution of One Chase strategies and NBIA Governance policy and documentation requirements

Qualifications

**Qualifications**

* Seasoned professional with 5-8 years experience in Financial Services, Operational Risk Management, Control Oversight and/or similar role
* Strong communication and collaborative skills and demonstrated ability to work across functions with project sponsors and balance the needs of multiple stakeholder groups
* Strong presentation skills including generating presentations and effectively communicating to senior management
* Knowledge of Banking products (Treasury Services, Global Investment Bank, Global Corporate Bank)
* Well developed understanding of risk and controls
* Creative and innovative problem solver, ability to communicate new ideas, and inspire support
* BA/BS degree required
