**Description**
The internship program in the Mortgage Advisory team is a 12 week summer program available to full time students who are currently a Sophomore, Junior or Senior attending an accredited university.
**Roles and Responsibilities**
* Support mortgage advisors in communication and organization throughout the process
* Work with members of the Mortgage Advisory team to learn about the mortgage process from conception through funding
* Assist Mortgage Advisors with document collection/submission
* Document and analyze financial information
* Partner with operations to help see deals through to fruition
* Usage of JPM internal systems to submit and track new deals
* Work with Senior Mortgage Advisors on the creation and implementation on a project that will run the course of your internship.
* Manuel reporting and assisting with pipeline management
* Miscellaneous ad hoc initiatives

Qualifications
We seek candidates with a unique blend of interpersonal and analytical skills. We look for candidates who effectively utilize both qualitative and quantitative resources to understand complex financial situations and present solutions. Specific qualifications include:
* Candidate must be currently enrolled in a university as a full time student
* Candidate must be a Sophomore, Junior or Senior
* GPA minimum of 3.2
* Candidate should generally be a business major/minor or be taking business related courses
* Superior multitasking and organizational skills
* Excellent communication skills, including presentation delivery
* Genuine interest in financial markets and macro-level economic trends
* Ability to be a dynamic member of a team
* Strong initiative, energy and confidence completing projects with limited supervision
* Good judgment and discretion working with highly confidential information
* Strong PC skills (proficient knowledge of MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
* Knowledge of general office procedures (e.g., filing, correspondence, scheduling)
