Application Developer:
The successful applicant will work with GFT EMS11 teams and applications receiving appropriate training as required. The GFT EMS11 Team is responsible for day to day production support and development, both investment projects and minor enhancements, of its application across various technology platforms. Application supported is a mixture of in-house developed and vendor packages. Activities performed include: production monitoring, performance tuning, problem resolution, systems analysis, functional specifications, application programming, testing and post implementation support. Knowledge Transition on the specific application areas covering functional, technical and work process and environment Production support activities in Job Monitoring and making fixes to production issues and problems, Batch production support, Application maintenance activities in catering to ad-hoc work requests and implementing change requests, develop and test application changes using disciplined software development processes. Adherence to Development Life Cycle, PLC, IT controls and change control policies for all developments. Promote teamwork and a culture of continuous improvement.
Roles & Responsibilities:
* Day-to-day maintenance of the application system in operation, including tasks related to identifying and troubleshooting application issues and issues resolution or escalation
* Root cause analysis, management communication and client relationship management in partnership with Infrastructure Service Support team members
* Responsible for management & delivery of BAU Support functions / enhancements of the Oracle Finapps Application, work on BAU Production support environment and manage client expectations in terms of delivery SLAs
* Interact with clients to collect & Scope business requirement for enhancements
* Set the correct level of expectations in terms of delivery dates & scope
* Knowledge Transition on specific applications areas covering functional, technical and work process and environment Production support activities in Job monitoring and making fixes to production issues and problems
* Batch production support, Application maintenance activities in catering to ad-hoc work requests and implementing change requests
* Development and test application changes using disciplined software development processes
* Adherence to Development Life Cycle, PLC, IT controls and change control policies for all developments

* Production Support / Service delivery experience is mandatory.

Qualifications
**Qualifications**
* 3-5+ Years of application support/application development work experience
* Knowledge of Oracle queries, PL/SQL stored procedures, scripting
* Tools: Toad, Putty, FTP application, i.e. WinSCP, Filezilla
* Good understanding of Oracle Documentation methodology
* Oracle Application Implementation experience
* Good communication skills & PLC understanding
* Exposure to Autosys scheduling tools
**Preferred Skills:**
* Exposure and experience to work in a production support team for multiple locations
* Self confident, self directed, and ability to work with various levels of staff and management
* Excellent time management skills
* Ability to remain calm, work in a fast paced, at times pressured environment, and balance competing priorities
* Skilled in problem solving and analytical reasoning
* Ability to work well in a team-oriented, agile environment
* Strong analytical skills and an eagerness to learn new technologies
