**Job Description:**

As an Engineer Lead, you will be responsible for managing the Tandem infrastructure platform. Working with architecture and application teams you will determine Tandem infrastructure impacts, and build appropriate plans. Manage all work associated with the platform including RTE, application releases, technology refresh, break-fix and other projects that require Tandem database support. Work to increase Tandem efficiency and performance through systems and database design changes. Coordinate all Tandem maintenance release work with the service delivery teams.

Qualifications

**Basic Qualifications:**

* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or closely-related field.
* Minimum three years experience managing teams with demonstrated team management skills e.g. planning, budgetary control, people management and HR related activities, etc.
* Minimum three years experience with Tandem infrastructure database platform
* Experience with security standards, backup solutions, change control methodologies, technology risk and audit best practices, and software packaging and deployment.
* Excellent interpersonal skills, written and verbal communication skills, negotiation skills, problem-solving and analytical skills.

**Preferred Skills:**

* Strong verbal and written communication, with an ability to present and discuss technical information in a way that establishes rapport, persuades others, and gains understanding.
* Solid interpersonal, negotiating, and marketing skills to work with users, senior management, and external personnel on significant matters, often requiring coordinated activity across organizational lines.
* Demonstrates an expert level understanding of architecture & design concepts and processes with direct experience in creating and establishing standards.
* Ability to exercise independent judgment and creative problem-solving techniques in a highly complex environment using technology and/or integrating diverse user systems.
* Minimum 5 to 7 years of work experience in a NonStop/Tandem environment
