Job Description

* f Corporate Technology and Risk ( CT&R;). CT& has a global presence in all major regions.
and oversees traditional finance support, investment management, vendor management, recoveries, resource
management and location strategy. CT&R; has a direct expense base of approximately $550 MM and 2500 people.
**Core Responsibilities include:
**Budget Management, Cost Control, Financial Reporting and Analysis:
* Complete monthly product area expense reports and present results to business contacts, collect business feedback and ensure that the business understands the financial impact of their actions and that they are reflected in the outlook
* Support the approval process for all spend requests, highlighting any impacts to budget and outlook
* Ensure all standard monthly close and reporting processes are complete including:
§ Reflect business actions in vendor outlook, applying accounting rationale as appropriate
§ Track major investment spend for central reporting purposes
§ Reconcile headcount movements and full-year outlook
§ Compile and upload outlook into Essbase (system of record)
§ Support monthly accruals and prepays management through interaction with accounting teams
§ Highlight any risks and opportunities contained in and in addition to the outlook
§ Track productivity achieved and reconcile future actions with outlook
§ Analyse and explain monthly and full-year variances against Budget and outlook
* Budgeting on an annual basis, ensuring agreed positions are uploaded on behalf of the business with related analysis available for reporting purposes, in a timely fashion
**Project Financial Management:****
* Track major investment spend for central reporting purposes
* Support the business through the investment approval process and add value by applying realistic timeframes and accounting principles
**Vendor Management:
* Guide the business to support vendor interaction, including providing historic spend, forecast detail, expense type clarification and renewal timing
* Ensure that business owners are aware of their responsibilities in managing vendor relationships, including interaction with sourcing, accounting and vendor management teams
**Strategic & Business Partnering:
* Assist global finance lead with any ad-hoc requirements
* Support B&FM; business manager by providing clear and concise reporting as required
* Provide cost centre level detail to support product costing queries
* Contribute to the global B&FP; team to drive efficiency and process improvement

Qualifications
* 5+ year financial / accounting experience
* BS degree in Accounting/Finance
* Knowledge of monthend close, forecasting, captial forecasts preferred
* Logical, analytical, clear thinker
* Ability to deal with several priorities simultaneously and maintain a flexible approach.
* Strong communicator
* Excellent spreadsheet skills
* Good relationship builder
* Essbase and SAP experience would be advantageous
* Proactive approach to improvement
* Results oriented and deadline focused
