**Job Description:**

IT Risk & Security Management''s (ITRSM) purpose is to ensure the security and resiliency of the Firm''s computing environment, protect customer and employee confidential information, and comply with regulatory requirements globally. We accomplish this through strong information security leadership and active collaboration with line of business information risk managers to provide high quality security solutions and services that are focused on improving the Firm''s risk posture. The IT Risk team is composed of firm-wide functions (IT Risk Management, Infrastructure Security Solutions, Identity & Access Management, and Application Security) as well as business-aligned risk & resiliency management teams that effect the technology risk program across JPMC. This individual will be part of a team who maintains security administration on Windows Active Directory Domains for project, audits and other business related activities.

**_Responsibilities;_**

* **Perform security administration on various platforms and systems, ensuring access is granted in accordance with the Logical Access Control policy, established standards and procedures.** Analysis of requests for potential risk before action. Analyst must use judgment to determine if access is excessive and requires additional approvals. In-depth knowledge of the various lines of business supported is necessary. Escalating, rejecting and querying requests where necessary. Analyst must use discretion to prioritize workload in order to ensure that Service Level Agreements are satisfied.

* **Troubleshoot and resolve security system access issues.** This requires detailed knowledge of multiple systems, as well as an in-depth understanding of the functionality for these systems. Analyst must use discretion to prioritize workload in order to ensure timely problem resolution and customer satisfaction. Technical expertise on multiple platforms is required.

* **Answer general inquiries regarding information security practice or security access. **Make recommendations for implementing desired level of access controls; Assist in implementing action plans to address system access issues.

* **Act as Subject Matter Expert (SME) of Information Security products, policies/practices and processes and how they are applied in daily function. Provide consulting services to internal business partners (i.e. LOB, GTI, GAD, IRM etc.) as it relates to security access. **Support LOB with Business Continuity/Disaster Recovery testing and conversion efforts; Communicate concepts and methodologies as they pertain to access entitlements and certification; Make recommendations for implementing desired level of access controls; Assist in developing solutions and implementing action plans to address system access issues.

* M**aintain all associated queues (i.e. Peregrine, Central Mailboxes, Central Hotlines etc., in addition to multiple Access Request Tools)**. Analyst must use discretion to manage workload and responsibilities for self and subordinates in order to maintain SLA and effectively handle the volume of work.

* **Participate in implementation of security related projects for new/enhanced technology. **Coordinate and/or implement new or enhanced security products and toolsets on supported platforms; Develop detailed project plans to ensure that all security related tasks are identified and completed; Coordinate, moderate and/or participate in project and/or security related meetings; Conduct and document user acceptance testing on new/enhanced system security packages; Determine process and document procedures in order to perform new administration responsibilities; Conduct training with subordinates; Engage other technical support groups as deemed appropriate; Identify process deficiencies and suggest process improvements.

* **Participate in audit support activities, as they pertain to Information Security, for both internal and external audits. **Manage/coordinate staff participation in Audit Support activities; research supporting documentation; Execute test scripts and perform sampling in preparation of audit review; Perform required activities to resolve open audit issues; Provide documentation and dialogue to Auditors explaining process and/or procedures and actions taken

* **Interface with LOB Information Risk Managers to identify and resolve potential access control risk issues.**Follow process and procedures to ensure compliance with policy; Report all suspicious activity or non-compliant access rights to management and IRM; Promote Security Awareness across the firm on an on-going basis

* **Provide daily customer support in order to ensure customer satisfaction. **Develop and maintain good relationships with lines of business. Ensure communication is customer focused and professional. Provide Off-Hours support, as needed, to resolve system access problems during non-business hours or backlogs; Overtime anticipated.

* **Reporting. **Perform ad-hoc reporting in support of various LOB initiatives; Maintain individual records for departmental metric reporting; Provide metrics in order to monitor productivity and quality of service; Develop reporting methods and ensure that metrics are captured and reported for the team, in order to monitor productivity and quality of service; Ensure timely & accurate time recording in PAR.

* **Performance Management. **Progress personal objectives, as agreed with your Supervisor/Manager, within the documented time scales. Report progress and issues.

Qualifications

Technical Skills Required;

* Minimum 3 years experience in Windows Active Directory Administration

* Basic understanding of Information Security policies/practices; Candidate should have prior experience in the industry

* Solid understanding of the principal differences between Windows and Netapp Storage

* Good familiarity with NTFS and Share Level Permissioning

* Up to date knowledge of current Information Security trends and potential threats based on weaknesses of various software/development packages

* Experience with working various scripting tools such as VBS, Perl, and/or Python

* Ability to efficiently troubleshoot, diagnose and resolve problems

* Ability to learn and apply new technologies quickly

* Ability to work in a high pressure environment with minimal supervision

* Familiarity with the following products: Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook (Strong Excel skill set preferred)

* Excellent communication, written and Organizational skills
