**Compliance —Technology Business Analyst, AML Program — VP — Based in Bournemouth**
**Description**
The Anti-Money Laundering (AML) Technology team within the Corporate Compliance Technology (CCT) organization provides technology solutions to monitor and report on suspected anti-money laundering and terrorist financing activities. These solutions strengthen the firm''s ability to effectively guard against the abuse of our products and services by criminals.
As a Senior Business / Systems Analyst, you will be responsible for performing analysis in support of technology initiatives focused on enhancing the firm''s AML transaction monitoring capabilities. You will work closely with internal business partners and technical team(s) during all phases of the project lifecycle from pre-initiate through project closure.
**Key Responsibilities:**
* Partner heavily with business users and global technology partners, at all levels
* Analyze and develop deep expertise of JPMorgan Chase AML business processes, requirements, data, and technology products (internal and vendor products)
* Facilitate requirements elicitation and verification sessions with business and technical teams
* Identify process and functionality implementation options to address strategic and tactical business needs, communicate benefits and risks of each option, and recommend business priorities
* Evaluate the impact of client requests and implementation options against application / product roadmap
* Translate implementation options into detailed functional and technical requirement specifications
* Communicate requirements to the development team for design and implementation
* Perform detailed analysis of data to ensure business information needs and technical application requirements are met
* Identify and communicate risks / issues including potential scope creep. Identify risk mitigation options and alternatives

Qualifications
* Significant business / systems analysis experience (intermediate to advanced understanding of systems analysis and the SDLC is required)
* Bachelor''s degree in a technical or analytical field with preferred focus on Computer Science or Information Systems, or equivalent.
* AML Experience and/or strong knowledge in one or more banking transaction and customer data sets (e.g., Retail, DDA, Wires, etc.) is preferred
* Experience working with AML transaction monitoring vendor software is a plus
* Proven experience working on complex systems analysis efforts and developing partnerships with business, technical and vendor teams
* Proven ability to develop deep expertise with system features, data, and implementation options/constraints and leverage this knowledge to effectively facilitate requirement discussions
* Must have excellent analytical, oral and written communication skills
* Excellent interpersonal skills necessary to work effectively with colleagues at various levels of the organization
* Ability to facilitate meetings among stakeholders with diverse and sometimes conflicting points of view
* Self motivated team player. Must possess the ability to research and resolve issues independently while working across teams to acquire needed information
* Ability to organize/manage multiple priorities and projects coupled with the flexibility to adapt to changes in a fast-paced environment
* Ability to develop high quality documents and presentations for multiple audiences including business and detailed requirements specifications
