The Global Finance, Corporate Treasury and Risk Management organization's charter is to build scalable systems and a resilient infrastructure that meet shared requirements and objectives for the firm: robust data quality and management; technology architecture and operating models; and new regulatory reporting requirements, including those related to the firm's Basel risk data integration, risk reporting principles, comprehensive capital analysis, and recovery and resolution programs

JPMC has mobilized a global Liquidity Risk Infrastructure (LRI) program that is a firm-wide, 'mission critical' effort to enhance our liquidity risk management monitoring and reporting capabilities, which will include a redesign of the related supporting technology and infrastructure. The LRI program will implement a world class liquidity risk reporting system complying with recently mandated new Federal and Basel regulations. The program will include strategic data sourcing, data enrichment, analytical, monitoring, and reporting capabilities.

**Application Developer Lead**

Individual filling role will be working on the team building platform capable of processing daily several millions transactions and positions, calculate risk presented by the current actual as well as model-based future states of the market, build multidimensional picture of corporate risk profile, and provide ability to analyze the profile in real time. The target liquidity risk platform utilizes massively parallel computing platform with ability to scale in horizontal and vertical directions, partitioning and pipelining, modern in-memory and non-relational data management principles, and state of the art methods of user interaction.

The individual is going to be part of the dynamic team of highly talented individuals and will be encouraged to contribute ideas, effort to design, and implementation, and learn new technologies, frameworks, and methodologies.

The individual must be self-starter, independent, motivated, detail and quality oriented, proud of the product (s)he develops, and an excellent team member.

Excellent problem solving skills are required.

Experience of working in enterprise risk management is strongly preferred.

The individual must have experience working in test-driven and highly iterative environment.

Key Responsibilities to include but are not limited to:

Primary duties include Planning, Programming, Modeling. Expected to perform role of Data Base Architect and to Architect, design and configure large, complex databases with replication and multi-node configurations on Exadata platforms ; Translate logical to physical design, Develop comprehensive DB architecture, implementation/upgrade plans; Assist in definition of database standards, policies, and procedures; Lead design reviews, data requirements gathering, architecture review, and modeling sessions.; Creates analyzes, translates and maintains large, complex logical and physical data models, metadata repositories, and data catalogues.

The individual is going to lead development of database modules for distributed rule-based aggregation infrastructure for the Liquidity Risk management platform

Qualifications

**Qualifications**

* 7+ years of experience in development databases for large scale data processing applications in large financial institutions preferably in areas of enterprise risk management

* High proficiency in database and/or SQL analysis and tuning;

* Strong knowledge of Oracle SQL and ability to develop stored procedures in PL/SQL. Experience with Exadata is strongly preferred. Knowledge of columnar databases is helpful.

* Strong analytical and problem solving skills.

* Knowledge of UNIX scripting like shell and Perl.

* Ability to articulate complex data problems and solutions required.

* 7+ years of data architecture and administration experience.
