**Description:**

SunPower Japan is seeking an enthusiastic marketer who is keen to learn and grow with us in marketing team in Japan. As Marketing Coordinator, you will work with Marketing Manager to assist in the implementation of the marketing plan to increase brand awareness and lead generation.

This Marketing Coordinator reports to the Marketing Manager in Japan.

+ Work with vendors (e.g. creative agencies, printers, digital agency etc.) to ensure timely, cost-effective execution

+ Coordinating and organizing events like tradeshows, seminars and conferences, working with different stakeholders

+ Tracks marketing campaigns to evaluate results and provide recommendations for future marketing promotions

+ Coordinate with channel managers and sales team on marketing campaigns and content

+ Website content management in Durpal (CMS: Content Management System)

+ Act as the single point of contact with customers marketing related inquiries, working closely with sales team

+ Proactive market intelligence research e.g. competitor’s marketing campaign, value propositions

+ Works with a local and global team in content localization work

+ Prepares regular marketing activity reports

+ Effective budget management and tracking in Oracle

**Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:**

+ Must be proficient in Microsoft Office suite of products (including strong knowledge of excel, PowerPoint and word)

+ Basic knowledge of budgeting or cost-management

+ Open-minded for learning new tasks

+ Strong interpersonal skills and a can-do attitude

+ Ability to balance strategic needs and day-to-day execution

+ Ability to communicate with both business and technical counterparts

+ Excellent project management skills and ability to manage timelines, interdependencies, budgets, and metrics

+ A strong desire to be a part of a rapidly growing business with an opportunity to progress

+ Knowledge of marketing communications and graphics

+ CRM, CMS use experience is a plus, not a must

**Minimum Qualifications:**

+ Bachelor’s degree and 2+ years of related experience

+ OR equivalent combination of education and years of related experience

+ Excellent writing skills in Japanese

+ Professional proficiency in English
