Role Description

This position will support the operation of
multiple countries within Asia Pacific (APAC) and regional business sectors
within the APAC Total Rewards Specialist Group. More specifically the scope
will encompass compensation, benefits as well as perquisites and the related
policies. Work will include activities related to the transition to a new Human
Resources Service Delivery model (requirements gathering, detailed end-to-end
process design in collaboration with the countries, HRIS & data management
aspects and other work in support of the implementation of the Enterprise
Standards & Productivity model). The
role needs to provide compensation and benefits insights and trends of the
local markets, stay connected with businesses, BUHR and Global Services and
execute global TR programs. Activities
include expert consultation, complex analyses, design & implementation
support, training & education, regulatory/legal compliance oversight and
management of 3rd party consultants or suppliers/brokers/service providers on
matters related to compensation, benefits and perquisites. The role will also
support implementation of benefits administration platform for the countries.
Responsibilities may also include support related to total rewards aspects of
mergers, acquisitions and reorganizations (due diligence, integration,
severance pay related to restructuring, etc.).

Qualifications

Position Scope

Reporting into the Head of Asia Pacific Total
Rewards, the scope of the position involves a variety of responsibilities
related to the operation of a regional specialist group that provides
compensation, benefits, and perquisite support & operational/strategic
consultancy across all businesses and across all employee groups and levels for
multiple countries in the region and for one business sector for the region. The position also involves working with
Business Unit HR (BUHR) to ensure benefit offerings in each country are
competitive and aligned with company’s total rewards strategy. The APAC Total
Rewards Specialist Group is part of the Global Total Rewards team based in New
Brunswick, NJ, USA.

The Total Rewards Cluster Lead will work closely
with different customers and stakeholders: Global Total Rewards, other Regional
Total Rewards groups, country & regional BUHR, other specialist groups (talent
acquisition, talent management, employee & labor relations, talent
mobility), local and regional Global Services teams, line leaders at all levels
(locally & regionally), Third Party Providers & consultants, etc.
Support to this position will be provided by other roles in the organization:
Global Total Rewards, Global Employee Benefits group based in New Brunswick,
Total Rewards Managers, and Total Rewards Analysts.

Qualifications:

+ BA/BS (preferably MS) degree
required, with minimum 10 years compensation & benefits business
experience (multinational company) and/or consultancy experience. Working
knowledge of local regulatory requirements within the region (more
specifically with regard to the assigned countries) is strongly preferred.
Experience leading or working with cross-functional, cross-business,
cross-country teams is preferred. Candidate must be culturally and
politically sensitive, drive for results, be articulate and have
demonstrable leadership skills. Excellent research, analytical and
quantitative business skills are required. Project management experience
(e.g. project plans, status reports, communication plans, risk management
plans, milestones, deliverable charts) is required. Some expertise in
HRIS, HR shared services/COE's, process management and change management
may be an asset.

+ Fluency in one or more relevant
languages in addition to English is an asset.

+ Minimal travel within APAC
region is expected for team meetings.
