The Subject Matter Expert builds and reinforces the customer base for IHS Energy E&P Content solutions across Asia Pacific. The SME delivers high level technical training / presentations in order to provide internal and external customers with complex work solutions utilizing IHS products. This includes in-house training, WebEx and/or over the phone support. The postholder requires high-level domain knowledge and technical skills to effectively present IHS products and services, coach workflows and integrate these with customers’ existing 3 rd party and IHS infrastructure.

**General Job Duties:**

+ Experience in using E&P Content in new ventures and business development.

+ Resolve general and complex customer inquiries through phone discussion, WebEx or client-facing presentations in a timely manner

+ Able to develop and deliver standard or customized training presentations for customers in various IHS product groups

+ Able to provide insight on content or data, provide technical support to customers, and / or answer internal / external customer requests

+ Able to develop and demonstrate an understanding of various systems to adequately troubleshoot and resolve customer issues

+ Take a proactive, strategic role in growing the portfolio. Understand the customer base, their key workflows, critical challenges and appropriate “hooks” to engage their interest.

+ As part of a regional plan, undertake white space analysis to identify new opportunities. Create a forward plan to target new logos, working with internal stakeholders to incorporate sales, operations and product perspectives.

+ Create regionalised marketing collateral to ensure that messaging is appropriate to the local customer base.

+ Drive campaigns & promote trials

+ Provide in-depth demos for new opportunities

+ Feedback information to Operations & Product teams on future development requests, customer workflows, competitor information and other insights.

+ Act as the in-region expert for customers and internal stakeholders (sales and support), providing in-depth demos as required. Provide Mentoring on IHS Energy E&P Content workflows and best practices at customer sites throughout APAC

+ Present the value propositions of IHS Energy E&P Content solutions.
