Until last year, I never realized that I was a morning person. Maybe I wasn’t always a morning person but everything changed this past year. You see, my son was born last March and his arrival made me a morning person.

I know all the Moms reading this are nodding their heads as you remember those first months of waking and nursing every couple hours. Morning always came too early. Sleep was precious but so was my time as I cared for my baby.

It was somewhere around month 2 that I realized I had become a morning person. My mornings were my most productive time. As the day wore on, I wore out.

Still, I had to make it through the exhausting infant stages before I could really enjoy my mornings. When my son started sleeping longer stretches and then began sleeping through the night, I was ready to make the most of my mornings.

You see, I learned that how my morning starts, sets the tone for the rest of my day. If I have time to drink my hot chocolate (I’m not a coffee person), look over my to-do list, cuddle with my son, and make a plan for my day, my morning is off to a good start.

It’s the first couple minutes of my morning that make the difference. Now, I wish I could say I always happily jump out of bed. That’s definitely not the case! I need my sleep and there are many moments I’d love to stay under the covers just 5 minutes more.

Some mornings, I have the best intentions to be productive but I get side-lined by my email. Or I stay in my pajamas and the morning is over before I accomplish much of anything.

That’s not always bad. Sometimes, a relaxed morning in our pajamas is just what this Mama and her baby need. However, I need to intentionally choose how my mornings unfold.

I know that mornings are important in making a difference for my day. I want my mornings to be productive and organized. Yet, I still struggle with creating a morning plan that allows me to start my day off right. I want a regular morning routine that is simple and effective for getting my day off on the right foot.

For these reasons and so many more, I was absolutely thrilled when I saw that Crystal Paine (of Money Saving Mom) had created a new 14 day course called “Make Over Your Mornings”

“Make Over Your Mornings” is a practical course that can be accomplished in about 15 minutes per day. By the end of 2 weeks, Crystal has outlined a complete strategy for you to create the mornings that you need to set a positive tone for the rest of the day.

I was able to preview this course already and I am so excited! This is the help I’ve been looking for. I rarely promote things like this but this course is so helpful that I want to share it with you.

When you purchase the “Make Over Your Mornings” course, you receive a beautiful and well-designed 64 page workbook to walk you through the next 14 days. The workbook is a pdf file that you can print yourself, if you so choose.

In addition, for each day of the course, Crystal recorded a brief 3 to 5 minute video that talks about the day’s tasks and what we need to do.

Basically, for each day of the course, there is a brief video to watch, a short chapter to read in the workbook, and then a project to complete for the day. The projects are assigned at the end of the chapter in the workbook. All together, these three things are designed to take up no more than 15 minutes of your time.

If you don’t have time to work through the course in the morning, you can do it over a lunch break or during naptime or in the evening. Simply take the time to work through the course so you can design a morning that is helpful to you!

Our mornings all look different. We all have different families and commitments and responsibilities. That said, I believe everyone can benefit from making over our mornings.

Here’s the details. “Make Over Your Mornings” isn’t on sale yet. It will be available to purchase tomorrow, June 2nd. The normal cost of the course will normally be $17. However, for the first day of sales, Crystal is making some amazing sale prices available! Here’s how it will work.

If you purchase the course from midnight to 7 am, it will cost you only $5. Yes, you read that right! $5 is the same price as a fancy cup of coffee at Starbucks. Do yourself a favor and buy a course that will last much longer than that!

From 7am to noon, you can purchase the course for $7. From noon to 5pm, it will be available for only $10. From 5pm until midnight, you can purchase it for $13. After that, the course will be priced at $17.

For that reason, if you are at ALL interested in making over your mornings, I highly recommend you purchase the course tomorrow while it is marked down. Crystal has said it will not be marked down this significantly again.

I am telling you all of this today so you have time to think about it. I’ll remind you tomorrow and I’ll post regular updates on Facebook so you don’t miss out on the sale. (If you’re not a fan on Facebook, you can follow me here.)

I am excited that this course is available to all of us. I’m ready to set aside the time to make over my mornings. Will you join me?
