Digital Content Creator
WPR is looking for a Digital Content Creator who will work with our Cyber Arabs team to create innovative multimedia content and training materials for its Cyber Arabs Online Academy. The post-holder will report to the project manager and will play a key role in the creation and execution of web content strategy.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Research and write on a wide range of digital security issues including emerging threats and new trends, and recommend ways in which activists can mitigate risks;
Work independently and with the Cyber Arabs Online Academy team to create online training, interactive and multimedia content and develop ideas for video podcasts, webinars and online classes;
Work closely with the Academy team to revise and develop the digital training curriculum;
Create and post relevant materials on social media websites and promote the Academy via social media;
Ensure all website content is up to date
REQUIREMENTS & EXPERIENCE
Fluency in Arabic, including excellent writing skills;
Solid understanding of digital security issues;
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail;
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects and deadlines;
Minimum 2-3 years professional writing experience, and ideally experience of content creation.

Launched in 2013, the Academy seeks to empower activists, civil society leaders and journalists across the Middle East and North Africa in order to strengthen democratic, pluralistic and inclusive societies. It provides in-person and online training in digital security skills, and provides resources offering advice on digital and mobile safety and security.
