Status:           Permanent (full time)

Key objectives

Internal: Source and originate digital content for specific campaigns to increase audience size, engagement and commercial returns.

External: A key representative for Further’s creativity and content expertise.

The role

The Content Producer works with the Head of Creative to bridge the divide between data, strategic objectives and campaign realisation, collaborating on the creation of category-leading content and interactive experiences.

Working with the Head of Creative, strategy and creative teams, the Content Producer will draw together designers, front-end developers, copywriters, interaction designers, and videographers to produce superbly thought-through, relevant and engaging experiences.

Key responsibilities

Developing content concepts to create relevant experiences

Briefing and liaising with creative resource from concept through launch

Be the ‘go-to’ person internally for digital asset requests for a group of allocated clients

Management of multiple projects from the content production perspective

Monitor performance of content assets, working with the Strategist to help derive  insights from the data available to optimise and improve future asset creation

Being the voice for the creative team in strategy discussions with colleagues

Providing assistance with the creative direction for client presentations

Providing ideas and insight for new business pitches

Helping to maintain a culture of continuous improvement

Skills and experience requirements

At least 2 years of experience in a content-related field – agency, journalism, digital PR etc

A proven background in digital content production and maintenance – including writing for an online audience, and ideally editing AV and imagery

Understanding of the full content cycle from creation to submission, outreach, community engagement and analysis

Creative thinking

Digitally and design savvy with an up-to-date knowledge of web trends, including social and mobile

Understanding of digital marketing channels and their potential

A clear, fluent writing style and an ability to produce strong editorial and documentation

Excellent attention to detail and subbing skills

The confidence and ability to present a brief to clients

Strong organisation skills and the ability to help develop, monitor and follow project plans, timelines and deadlines

Understanding of how to work with data, including initial campaign research and monitoring of results

Ability to collaborate with colleagues across Further’s range of operations

Highly organised and able to make decisions independently when required

Able to work individually and collaboratively

Persuasive in both verbal and written communication

Technical Skills

Required:

CMS experience

SEO knowledge

Working knowledge of web analytics and online monitoring tools

Desirable:

Photoshop

Working knowledge of CSS and HTML

Illustrator

Fireworks

AV editing tools (Avid, Final Cut Pro)
