Guild Hall, the new Jenkintown brewpub, has slated its grand opening for June 19… My Philly.com colleague Michael Klein reports that Bridesburg has a new neighborhood craft beer joint: Smokey Pint (2549 Orthodox St.). Look for BBQ, 8 taps and a very affordable bottle/can list… Meanwhile, a few blocks away in Kensington, Red Brick Craft Distillery (2628 Martha St.) reports it’s hoping to open in July with its first spirits, an un-ged rum. Look for whiskey that’s been barrel-aged by the end of the year…

Fegley’s Brew Works in Allentown will release its strongest beer, yet, Imperial Coffee Stout made with coffee, molasses and vanilla. Its alcohol content: 17 percent by volume… New York’s Genesee Brewery has launched a new “craft-y” brand, called Genesee Brew House. First up: 12-ounce bottles of Imperial Black IPA and Scotch Ale…

Victory Brewing has two new ice cream flavors: Strawberry Love, made with Summer Love, and Belgian Brulee, made with V Twelve… Is someone at the LCB must be reading Beer Radar? After I griped last week about the board hiding its advisory opinions behind an unwieldy search tool, the board immediately brought back its old browse function, allowing users to more efficiently scratch their heads over the sometimes bizarre rationale behind its inscrutable legal rulings…

Last week’s column about raising extinct beers from the dead drew a big, nostalgic response. I dreamed of bringing back the likes of Prior Double Bock and Celis White. Here’s a few others from readers:

Arrowhead Red Feather Pale Ale, an early micro from central Pennsylvania – Anthony Golowski.

Bert Grant’s Perfect Porter, a classic chocolate-like dark ale from Yakima Brewing – Steve Cohen.

Esslinger, last brewed in Philadelphia in the 1960s – Claude LaForest

Miller Red Label, a full-bodied lager produced in the ‘90s – Jim McDermott

Mount Carbon Bavarian Premium, which some believe inspired the current Yuengling Lager recipe – Kevin Bevan.

Old Stock Lager, a dry-hopped brew from Poor Henry’s, the ahead-of-its-time Northern Liberties brewpub operated by Henry Ortlieb – Christopher Wisniewski .

Pilsner Urquell aged on oak – Chris Solis

Schmidt’s Classic – Tom Mariano and Keith Barger

Tequiza, the lime-flavored lager that was replaced by Bud Light Lime about six years ago – Jack Heath.

Could the big guys re-brand themselves as small craft brewers be as easy as changing labels? A British website called The Restaurant Choice suggest it might be, with these three brilliant examples:
