The Application/Implementation Consultant has the mission to deliver/provide skilled professional advice, guidance and service to customers (internal and external). This will be in relation to NorthgateArinso products and services (specifically the implementation of ResourceLink) and from time to time in relation to specific generic professional services required by the Customer and business.

Delivery Key Responsibility

- Work with the Project Manager to achieve project objectives, project milestones and acceptance criteria and ensure that these are achieved within timescale and budget relevant to each project.
- Working with customers on end to end projects, having a knowledge of the project lifecycle and able to guide a customer through each stage.
- Undertaking project scoping and requirements gathering, producing high quality documentation outlining requirements and documenting a system design.
- Providing client training as necessary, either through knowledge transfer or formal training delivery.
- Define and agree consultancy requirements with the Project Manager and customer - agree achievable objectives and completion dates for the customer at each stage of the project.
- Maintain a high level of customer/project related utilisation as per the business needs Display an up to date level of knowledge on NorthgateArinso products and services, commensurate with experience and role. Together with relevant legislation and business practices.
- Ensure that all administrative activities are completed within the published timescales.
- Actively seeks out new and downstream opportunities.
- Ensuring that all opportunities identified are communicated to the appropriate parties.
- Identification of potential areas of danger or risk to the Company, employees or clients. Work as a cohesive team with any other colleagues involved in the project and ensure appropriate project personnel and management are made aware of the current project status and any potential issues.
- From time to time undertake any other duties as reasonably required.
- Adherence to corporate policies and procedures as appropriate, and as detailed in the Consultancy Handbook.

Essential skills:

- In depth knowledge and experience of ResourceLink products and Payroll
- Excellent understanding, knowledge and experience of end-to- end software configuration, implementation covering design, build, data migration and business intelligence/reporting.
- Previous experience of implementing software in a Business to Business environment
- Detailed technical knowledge of Payroll and Payroll legislative requirements
- Experience of specifying business requirements and requirements gathering
- Excellent customer facing skills
- Ability to work independently
- Good analytical skills - to be able to break down a problem, situation or process into its component parts, to separate the main issues from side-issues, to understand the nature of parts and their relationship to one another.

Location

This is a home based role, covering the whole of the UK, a car allowance will be provided. Overnight stays are a regular feature of this role. Equipment is provided to ensure you can work effectively from your home location and all UK offices have hot-desks for use by remote workers.
