Looking for an Accounts Supervisor to work for one of the 10 top accounting firms in the world in Liverpool

Overview

We require a team of people to produce quality financial statements for clients, working as part of our Business Services & Accounting team. The Business Advisor (Part Qualified) or Senior Business Advisor (Qualified) in the Business Services & Advisory team will be required to produce and advise on a range of accounts and work with others in the production of financial statements. You will be required to work closely with clients, partners, other departments and other specialists to ensure the right information is provided. You will be required to manage user expectations and ensure the timely delivery of services. You will also be required to assist with business development, helping to grow the fees of the department through supporting quotes and tenders and developing services provided to existing and new clients.

Responsibilities

. Controlling all aspects of the accounts production, including completing disclosure checklists which are compliant with FRSSE, UK GAAP, FRS 102 and potentially IFRS. Training and support will be available from our technical teams
. Planning and controlling assignments to ensure their completion to the required standard and within budget. Produce cashflow statements, consolidated accounts and other more complex areas of accounting. Ensure the team follow the processes for the acceptance and completion of work
. Answer queries promptly.
. Liaise with clients and stakeholders to ensure customer satisfaction with the service delivered. Although the majority of the work will be office based, other assignments may arise from time to time which will require delivery of services on client premises

Requirements

. ACCA or ACA Qualified (or will consider part qualified if able to demonstrate good financial reporting skills). Previous experience of accounts preparation essential.. Good financial reporting skills required (UK GAAP essential, but IFRS also desirable)
. Knowledge of Caseware ideal, but training can be provided
. Good knowledge of Microsoft Office and Excel.
