JOB TITLE: Residential Care Home Manager

SALARY AND BENEFITS: £35'000 - £40'000 Dependant on experience, free on-site parking and access to a company pension.

WORKING HOURS: Full time - day and night shifts available, part time applications will also be considered.

THE COMPANY:
Our client, established in 1960, are a 22 bed Nursing Home loacted with a grade II listed building in Ince Blundell, Liverpool. Owned and run by the Augustinian Canonesses of the Mercy of Jesus, they were originally opened to care for the ill and retired priests of the Archdiocese of Liverpool. For over 40 years this has been maintained and they also provide care to local elderly people of all denominations or none.

The home has a relaxed feel, they strive to ensure all their residents feel safe, cared for and 'at home' at all times and there is an open door policy and encouragement for relative visits. They are currently looking for an experienced Residential Care Home Manager to join their friendly team.

THE ROLE:
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Residential Care Home Manager, Deputy Home Manager or Registered Nurse to take the next step in their career as a Residential Care Home Manager. You will join a friendly and welcoming 22 bed organisation based in Ince Blundell, Liverpool. You will be responsible for providing the highest standards of care and support for all residents, leading a dedicated team, to ensure compliance with all CQC regulations and manage all aspects of residential care home.

Key Responsibilities of the Residential Care Home Manager to include:-

Manage all aspects of residential care home management,

Creating and maintaining person centred care plans and risk assessments

Caring for 10-12 patients on shift

Delivering excellent care

Overseeing Care Assistants and Domestic staff

Liaising with families and other health care professionals

THE CANDIDATE:
The ideal candidate will be have a nursing qualification or similar within health care. You will be caring, approachable and compassionate by nature with excellent communication skills. You will have a real desire and ability to provide excellent care, whilst providing residents with a warm and reassuring 'home' environment. You will have previous management experience or deputy home management experience.

Key experience essential for the Care Home Manager role:

Experience as a manager or deputy home manager,

Ideally have a nursing qualification or similar in health care,

Previous experience within a care home setting,

A good understanding of CQC standards and safeguarding,

Strong team player,
