We are seeking experienced IT Auditors for a large global professional services firm. You will have knowledge of core IT related business controls and processes, information security risks and data protection compliance requirements. Experience within a professional services firm is preferable however the client is open to background provided there is a strong background in IT Audit requirements.
 
The role will involve working with a variety of clients in a number of different sectors as well as working with teams from different service lines. Your ability to build a strong network whilst maintaining key client relationships is key. You may also be required to lead a small team or carry sole responsibility for technical delivery requirements.
 
Responsibilities include:
Assessing clients IT environments and IT-related business processes that support the financial statements.
Identifying control and performance gaps and helping clients gain stakeholder buy-in, reduce risk, and increase value and visibility of IT cost
Assisting organisations in the identification and management of information security risks by assessing the current state, prioritising improvements and conducting projects to reduce risk and improve regulatory compliance
Planning, budgeting and delivering projects for review by Senior Management
Gaining an understanding of the clients' IT applications and infrastructure to determine the effectiveness of the control environment through performing and reviewing process walkthroughs
Reviewing detailed analysis of the control environment to gain assurance over effective operation of controls
Identifying control weaknesses and any mitigating controls
Reviewing working papers and supporting evidence in line with internal compliance requirements.
You will have had experience of the following:
IT Assurance
IT external audit support including Financial audit IT integration
IT internal audit
Third party reporting, e.g. SOC1, AAF 01/06, SOC2
 Technical Skills Preferred:
Certified Information Security Auditor (CISA) qualification
ISO accreditation
Advanced MS Excel beneficial
Knowledge of IT industry practice methodologies preferable
Experience of Windows, Oracle, SQL or UNIX environments
