ROLE:
– Plan, automate, and execute regression and functional test cases of the web-site and all back-end services for Myntra.com.
– Drive test automation and framework development.
– Work with the development and test engineering teams to automate testing.
– Conduct research on emerging technologies for web services development & strategize automated testing roadmap appropriately.
– Experience in a fast-paced mobile/web application development industry with an excellent understanding of QA methodology and best practices.
– Strong understanding of mobile platforms and browsers.
– Experience with iOS and Android platforms. Symbian will be a plus.
– Test web applications on multiple mobile browser across multiple platforms
– Prior experience of automation on rich/native mobile application across all mobile platforms (iPhone, Android etc.)Designs and develops automated tests suite in Selenium is a plus
REQUIREMENTS:
– (3-7) years hands on Functional QA/Testing & automation Experience
– Prior desktop web application testing or testing web applications on mobile browsers (domain experience of ecommerce or mobile apps in ecommerce is a plus)
– B.E./B.Tech degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field or equivalent.
– 3 years of hands on test automation experience for web services automation using JAVA/SOAPUI.
– Prior experience of SOAPUI with groovy script assertions is must.
– 2-3 years Prior experience of writing code in Java & outstanding programming basics.
– Excellent understanding of REST and SOAP based web services is a must
– Hands on Prior experience of REST based web services automation using JAVA/JSON Parsers/ is a huge plus.(experience of Python, or Perl test frameworks for rest api automated testing can be a plus)
– White Box/Black Box/Grey Box Testing: Including testing against large-scale database systems.
– Experience of working with nosql dbs like MongoDB, Cassandra is a huge plus.
– Prior experience of design patterns for building highly scalable test automation frameworks for REST based web services is huge advantage.
– Prior Experience of mobile test automation UI automation/Calabash/Monkey Talk is a plus.
– Must be a team player and highly motivated technical enthusiast.
– Excellent written and oral communication skills
– Excellent critical thinking and problem solving abilities
