Growing, established Fine Wine Distributor seeks a passionate, high-energy proactive sales representative to serve and develop prime accounts in the East London, Umtata and Border regions
Candidate must be able to sell an established and successful range of wines; be conversant on a broad range of wines with an emphasis on the major local South African wines. This is a great opportunity for someone who thrives in a start-up environment and would like to build a prime territory for themselves!
Applicants will be expected to retain and build on existing business with the overall goal of increasing distribution and new product placements. Having established relationships is a plus, but willingness to cold call is paramount.
Energetic, resourceful and creative behaviour with desire to continually self-educate about product, trends and the industry are key to one’s success. We are looking for passionate wine enthusiasts with great communication, strong administration and organisation skills. Computer literacy is a pre-requisite.
Candidate must be 21 years or older, live in East London and have a valid driver’s license and their own reliable vehicle. Flexibility is key and some nights and weekends will be required for tastings and events. This is great experience and an opportunity to learn about the world of fine wine and work with some of the greatest wines in South Africa
Due to extensive travelling and areas covered only Males will be considered for the position. The successful incumbent must also be willing to go for training in Port Elizabeth
