SUMMARY:
The HRIS Manager provides analytical and technical support to the Human Resources Department and Company in pursuit of HRIS initiatives and other HR-related responsibilities.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Ensure the department maintains the quality, consistency and integrity of HR data across all of the company's integrated systems
Coach, teach and train the HR Coordinator on day-to-day tasks and duties related to HRIS practices, data requests and HR operational areas of work
Assess the current HR management systems, its capabilities, functionalities and interface with other systems to determine its current performance and ability to meet the firm's current and future needs
Identifies opportunities for improving Human Resources processes through information systems changes
Runs scheduled reports and creates reports as needed
Functions as Project Manager for HRIS upgrades and projects
Ensures personnel actions are in compliance with current Human Resources policies and guidelines
Provides HRIS technical support to Human Resources and field management
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, etc.
Knowledge of some payroll systems but does not have to be a payroll person
Knowledge of Kronos, Empower for time and attendance is a plus Knowledge of contracts systems is a plus
5+ years hands-on and leadership work with HR systems, design techniques, theory, practices, methods, programs and plans including regulatory requirements.
