This is a remote position covering IL, MN, SD, IA, and NE. General Profile: Promote Long Term Care Insurance (LTC), Asset Preserver, and Chronic Care Rider sales through New York Life career agency in specific General Offices (GO). - Deliver LTC, AP, and CCR sales training to GO management staff and agents, through group, field and individual development exercises. - Provide support and guidance to GO staff and agents to increase LTC sales and attain goals. - Increase LTC, AP, and CCR sales in assigned offices to achieve Company sales goals. - Act as liaison between agents, Home Office staff and LTC staff. - Minimum 70% travel. - Provide written reports on a regular basis of field activity. - Manage travel and entertainment expenses within budget. - Manage or coordinate Special Sales Projects. - Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications: - Bachelor's Degree required. - Current Life and Health Insurance License required. - Detailed understanding of the LTC industry and market, our products, and that of our competitors is highly desired. - Thorough grasp of insurance sales and closing techniques required. - Complete understanding of insurance agency systems and protocol required. - Insurance industry designations (i.e. CLU, ChFC, CLTC, CASL etc). strongly preferred. - Minimum of four years closely related work experience in the insurance field may be substituted for college degree. - At least four years of field experience as an agent, wholesaler, or trainer in the insurance industry required. - Professional presentation experience to all size groups required.
