We're looking for a highly motivated PR an d Communications Manager to join our growing Marketing team. This is an exciting opportunity to be the voice of the company as you drive and execute Telenav's communication strategy.

The ideal candidate will have a blend of hands-on marketing and communications prowess, from content strategy including corporate website editorial direction, to navigating between media, analyst and investor relations, to product launches and announcements, to a knack for developing messaging that effectively reaches and positively influences a variety of audiences.

This important role will be dedicated to three strategic areas of marketing communications for Telenav: the creation and execution of the company's PR plan with a focus on the Automotive business unit, development of our analyst and investor relations plan, and delivery and management of the corporate website and related microsite content plan.

Responsibilities:

Public Relations :

Working with stakeholders across the company, develop short and longer-term public relations strategy and quarterly plans

Develop key messages to help tell our product and corporate story

Determine metrics and measurement for all PR activities

Be the company's champion for thought leadership and guide company through best practices for media thought leadership

Build and foster media target relationships

Write press releases, bylined articles, and blog posts as well as manage award submissions and speaking opportunities

Execute media training program for all spokespeople

Analyst and Investor Relations :

Understand the analyst and investor landscape to determine synergistic plan with PR plan

Help augment investor relations by working with exec team on quarterly earnings announcement and call preparation, including developing messages and writing scripts, managing investor conference content, and owning the investor relations presentation

Corporate Website Content:

Develop corporate website strategy for a full content refresh and maintain an editorial calendar

Work across functions to execute web plan

Keep website content fresh and relevant to company's positioning and messaging

Required Experience:

5-7+ years in hands-on, high-responsibility public relations, corporate communications, marketing communications or product marketing roles in B2B environments

Solid understanding of and experience in media landscape across channels and tiers; solid media relationships are a bonus

Understanding of investor and analyst relations with the ability to put an integrated plan together across IR/AR/PR

Passionate about automotive technology, with demonstrable excellent oral, presentation, and written communication skills

Proven ability to effectively articulate and showcase technology with flair and to different types of audiences with track record of delivering differentiated messaging for a product or suite of products

Essential marketing skills including understanding how to develop positioning and messaging

Proven ability to lead and execute content strategy

Ability to quickly ramp up on and understand complex technical concepts

Understanding of the critical importance of leveraging effective cross-functional relationships

Energetic, self-starter with amazing interpersonal and collaboration skills

Must be resourceful, creative, and able to brainstorm and implement new ideas

Strong portfolio of marketing communications deliverables and writing samples required
