The Shopper Marketing Manager, eCommerce develops robust e-shopper engagement plans (including Customer Relationship Management (CRM)) and strategies based on deep insight, testing and experience across wellness and therapeutic brands to accelerate growth in this channel. The incumbent will ensure brand voices are well represented within the e-commerce space and have a strong linkage to brand strategy (ensuring an Omnichannel view). This position also helps Hills lead and drive pet segment e-commerce both internally (by sharing best practice with customer development teams) and externally (by helping brick & mortar retailers get ahead in ecommerce).
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
Lead the development and execution of Shopper Marketing short and long term plans and align with customers
Collaborates with the Marketing function to ensure the delivery and execution of the best content for our brands on ecommerce sites (both base and NP)
Tailor category segmentation to define key elements of the category. Possibly develop new view of segmentation based on new insights
Develop category shopper strategies and activity plan for the customer including 6P's
Monitor and assess progress against the 6P's and strategic gaps vs overall brand strategy. (e.g. monitor pricing, assortment, promotional depth & frequency, sizing)
On-going interaction with Hill's digital/shopper marketing to develop and execute e-shopper engagement programs
Drive shopper insights agenda and business analytics. Identify key insight gaps and recommend plan to address
Assess key growth opportunities and present to key internal customers (i.e., Marketing, Customer Marketing)
Execute ongoing engagement programs like CRM. Recommend and develop supporting content.
Work with digital team and brand teams to develop engagement programs and content
Link with customer's marketing plan and Customer Development Teams to ensure planning and execution
Required Education/ Experience
BS/BA degree or equivalent required
10+ years combined experience in marketing or sales, with at least 5 years coming from Marketing/Brand Management
Strong computer skills in Excel, Word, Power Point
Preferred Education/ Experience
MBA
Experience within the CPG (Consumer Packaged Goods) industry
eCommerce experience
Shopper or Customer Marketing experience
