Common Entrance Examination for Design (CEED) is an all-India examination conducted by IIT Bombay, on behalf of Ministry of Human Resources Development (MHRD), Government of India. CEED is a qualifying exam for admission to Master of Design (M.Des) programmes at IISc Bangalore, IIT Bombay, IIT Delhi, IIT Guwahati, IIT Hyderabad and IIT Kanpur, and Ph.D. programmes in Design in some institutes. CEED Examination is a common entrance test conducted by IIT – Indian Institute of Technology & IISC – Indian Institute of Science. from ministry of Human Resource Department, CEED 2016 examination is conducted and only after this examination, eligible candidates are able to become admitted in desired Post Graduate courses of Design.

CEED 2016 Eligibility Criteria:
Candidates of final year degree holders will also be allowed to attend CEED entrance test
Under Graduate candidates will be eligible to attend CEED entrance test
There is no restriction to allow candidates to take up CEED entrance test
Candidates are given admission in IIT and IISC but they have to clear CEED entrance test with pass marks
