We want people with...BIG goals, BOLD dreams and an INNOVATIVE spirit!   OBJECTIVE Ensure all global compliance with tax reporting for international assignees through collaboration and coordination with functional stakeholders, including vendors.  Monitor new tax regulations and provisions that may affect our global talent movement, identify impact and make timely and appropriate recommendations, etc.   RESPONSIBILITY Payroll & Accounting/Finance Integration Create process and maintain ongoing compensation collection reporting and updates. Explain tax equalization program and policy to assignees. Track and provide ongoing communication and reminders.   Liaison to international payroll managers regarding taxation requirements in each country, reporting of tax equalization and taxability of reimbursements. Support Global Mobility Analyst to ensure accurate tax, allowances and other entries are completed timely for payroll processing.   Collaborate with team and vendor to maintain and update online system to execute assignment process aligned to internal policy, procedures, goals and objectives.  Tax Program Management Design and guide tax equalization policy development for all international needs for multiple regions and countries. Guide case manager staff on taxation requirements in various countries and treaty provisions. Serve as SME to regional HR managers and business unit managers in understanding taxation requirements and tax planning for employees’ compensation in alignment with corporate policy. Liaison with and provide feedback to stakeholders on equalization policy changes/revisions considerations and ensure compliant and cost effective processes are developed and maintained. Negotiate with tax vendors on return preparation costs and corporate consulting tax fees for international tax equalization program as appropriate.  Coordinate and partner with vendors to ensure timely and accurate completion of monthly, quarterly and/or annual tax requirements.  Recognize and evaluate tax aspects of domestic relocation Corporate tax with Permanent Establishment Issues (ability to recognize assignments which may need to be reviewed). Vendor Management Liaison and support Global Mobility Analyst to ensure accurate and timely assignee cost allocation budgets and intercompany charge backs. Support Global Mobility Manager in developing tax components of cost projection analysis for Leadership approval on new assignment authorizations. Guide, maintain, communicate and update/revise as necessary (quarterly and in preparation for year end) with Corporate Tax, and Finance groups regarding International Tax Accrual accounts and long term planning with foreign tax credit carryovers. Reconcile and fund open accounts appropriately.   KNOWLEDGE / EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance.  5+ years’ experience with an international accounting firm and/or international tax administration experience. Expertise in expatriate program administration as well as tax policies and procedures. Tax knowledge related to international treaties and individual tax jurisdictions required.
