Massage TherapistProvides a therapeutic wellness service involving systemic manipulation of, or pressure on, soft tissue of the human body for therapeutic purposes to members and guests of the Family Wellness, LLC. Massage therapy includes such methods or techniques as effleurage, petrissage, tapotement, compression, vibration, friction, fascia manipulation, using the actions of the hands, and application of oils, lotions, or similar preparations.Education, Experience, & Skills (Minimum Requirement): High school diploma or the equivalent is required. Must have successfully completed a course of study consisting of 500 or more classroom hours of supervised instruction from a recognized school.
