Sandhurst School is seeking to appoint an outstanding Assistant KS5 Learning Manager to play a key role in the next phase of our development helping to ensure the ethos of achievement and high standards. This is a unique opportunity to take on a leadership role in a successful school as it continues to grow its sixth form. The post holder will have the opportunity to work with a committed, collaborative and inspirational staff.

[*The Role*]

Working directly with the KS5 Learning Manager, you will be accountable for the overall welfare and recruitment of students and support the KS5 Learning Manager in securing outstanding results.

Sandhurst has a small, friendly and well established Sixth Form which has been growing steadily in numbers over the last 5 years. We pride ourselves on being an inclusive 6th form, which offers the opportunity to succeed to a diverse range of students, whilst maintaining rigorous academic standards and excellent standards of behaviour.

[*Key Accountabilities:*]

1. Deputise for KS5 Learning Manager in his/her absence.

2. Assist in the recruitment procedures for Year 11.

3. Assist with the Sixth Form induction programme.

4. Monitor attendance

5. Assist with Year 11 Interviews for Sixth Form places.

6. Assist with planning and delivery of Citizenship and enrichment.

7. Assist with and monitor applications to UCAS and take responsibility for booking the Higher Education Conference, outside speaker(s) from higher education and organisation of higher education literature.

8. Sixth form tutor.

9. Monitor study room environment and subject specific boards.
