Responsibilities The purpose of this role in the Elanco Swine Business Unit is to create demand and secure sales by delivering and demonstrating the value of Elanco Animal Health products and services to Swine Producers and the people that influence their product decisions. This position requires yearly goal setting, account planning, effective expense management and appropriate communications consistent with Elanco's Swine Business Unit marketing and sales objectives. Sales territory contacts consist of Swine producers, nutrition influencers, veterinarians, key university contacts, and channel partner contacts. Sales Reps are held accountable for delivering sales results and implementing agreed to strategies and plans. Key Objectives/Deliverables:• Transfer key messages and scientific information about Elanco Swine products to producers and key influencers within the designated sales territory. • Call on and generate demand with producers of >500 cows for Elanco Swine Products • Call on Top Nutrition Influencers within the territory • Call on key Food Animal/Swine-focused Veterinary Clinics • Call on key Channel Partner Representatives • Implement and execute any and all marketing programs and initiatives • Plan and implement sales promotions, customer meetings & educational programs for customers
Basic Qualifications • Bachelor’s Degree: Animal Science, Swine Science, Ag Economics, Ag Marketing or Ag Communications • 3 years of sales or service experience within the Swine Industry • Must be fluent in Spanish Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to be employed in the United States.
