Job Description:

A successful removal company are currently recruiting for an Administrator/Office Sales person to complement our professional and friendly team and continue the success of our company. Initially part time this may lead to a full time role.

This role has arisen due to retirement.

Key Responsibilities include:

• Handling initial sales enquiries and booking appointments for estimators

• Calling potential clients and converting appointments into a confirmed move

• Liaising with estimators to achieve targets

• Assisting with the co-ordination of the move from enquiry through to completion

• Generating quotations, confirmations and work sheets, filing and general administrative duties

• Liaising directly with clients throughout the removals process, giving advice, reassurance, updates and any aftercare as necessary

Key Skills required:

• Excellent communication (both verbal and written), negotiation and customer service skills are essential

• Excellent problem solving skills.

• Sales experience with the desire to generate business (no cold calling involved)

• Excellent MS Office skills and strong attention to detail and numerical skills

• Proficient in learning new software

• Hands on approach, a good sense of humour and the confidence to work on own initiative

• Any previous experience within removals, relocation, Shipping or Transport would be an advantage, but training can be given

Hours of employment: (Initially a part-time role that may lead on to full-time hours)

Monday to Friday – 25 hours a week – approx. 10am-3pm

Wages are negotiable according to experience.

Closing date for applications is Monday 6th February.

Interviews to be held through February with a start date the end of February, beginning of March.

Full one to one training will be given to the successful applicant.
