In-Detail is a design company that does full brand development including all signage, branded and printed elements – as well as websites, apps, social media and various online development.
Established in 1992, we have remained small to ensure a focussed boutique style studio. We know our clients businesses and we provide solutions to attract success. We pride ourselves in the fact that most of our clients have been with us for 10 years or more. We are a hard working down to earth team who crave good design and exciting projects. We work hard but we enjoy what we do.
We are looking for a graphic and web designer to join our small team in our Bedfordview office.
You need to have 2-3 years of experience in graphic design and web development. The emphasis is on web design and development – but print experience would be a bonus. You should be well presented and comfortable taking briefs and working directly with the client to ensure success. You should be self motivated and able to work alone or in a team.
We believe in working smart. Good systems and processes means we can work efficiently and bring success to each project.
Our studio is Mac based and we work using the Abobe Creative Suite and various other packages. You should be fluent in Dreamweaver, In-Design, Photoshop, Illustrator and Fireworks.
You should have experience designing and developing with Wordpress, HTML 5, PHP and CSS. The majority of our development is custom built – although we do make use of CMS systems like Wordpress. We have a dedicated coding team, so you do not need to know how to code – but knowledge of basic HTML is expected. Good website design practices should be second nature – such as SEO and user interface design.
The position would suit a candidate who prides themselves on being a world class web designer and constantly striving to stay ahead of the curve in web development.
