Job Description

Reports to Contractor Manager

Responsible for investigating, planning, organising on well integrity related work as instructed by contract holder.

The requirements of the COMPANY’S Wellhead Integrity Maintenance Programme.

Fully conversant with CONTRACTOR’S HSE and operational Policies and Procedures

Liaises with CONTRACT holder, asset owner, well activity owners (Reservoir engineers), asset team and asset engineers on all well integrity issues.

Task including not limited to investigating all well integrity issues, forward with plan solution, recommendations.

Ensures compliance with the company procedure (AIMS/WIMS/FSR), HSE requirement.

Takes part in COMPANY audits and investigations as required.

Qualifications & Skills

Education
Diploma of Education (HND or equivalent) or Bachelor of Mechanical from University.

Experience & Skills

Minimum ten (10) years experience in the Oil and Gas industries, of which the last 5 years experience specially associated to well completion, well construction, well integrity maintenance.

Familiar with the following:

Procedure for testing and replacement of wellhead, valves

Well completion equipment and the various component specifications, design limitations

Understanding of requirement for reservoir control and constrain. Managing well operating and production requirement and condition

WINCH OPERATOR / TECHNICIAN

Job Description

He shall be responsible for operating the TLP mooring and hawser winches during the kedging operations of the TLP.

Carry out preventive maintenance of the winches as per maintenance manual, when needed

He will be given training by COMPANY’s vendor for the operating and maintenance of the winches. Then, he should be familiar with and taking charge of winches on-board TLP during kedging/ TLP repositioning;

He is responsible to train Malaysian personnel in good oil field and winching practices and procedures to develop them to be able to take increasingly responsible positions.

Qualifications & Skills

Proven technical experience within mechanical workshop with SVQ/ NVQ level 3 Mechanical discipline minimum and/ or a recognized mechanical based apprenticeship

He must have experience in winch operation especially in the offshore environment. Having experience in mooring winches of floating offshore facilities or winch handling operations on Anchor Handling, Tug and Supply (AHTS) vessels would be preferred

A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar capacity in offshore industry is essential. He must have a proven record in Project, Safety and Personnel Management.

Offshore survival would be beneficial

Working knowledge of QHSE initiatives within workshop

MOORING COORDINATOR

Job Description

Will coordinate all mooring activities including TLP-DTV repositioning/ kedging for drilling.

Will plan, supervise and coordinate communication for all the offshore mooring activities between the TLP, TAD, AHTS Vessel Masters and the Vessel Coordinators, if any, regarding the deployment of vessels and execution for TLP-DTV mooring operations.

Planning and supervising the offshore activity of TLP-DTV repositioning for drilling using lateral mooring system

Monitor all stages/steps of the mooring operations to confirm that all hardware is operating within limits of design and relay information to TLP OIM and TAD Company Representative.

Advise the TAD Company Representative and TLP OIM if there is a problem or operations need to deviate from the intended procedures, esp. for during TLP repositioning for drilling.

When contingency situations exist, will be available for advising the team on all possible options.

Will be available at all stages/steps of the operation for advising the TLP OIM and TAD Company Representative.

Will maintain a daily report in which the details of the daily activities are recorded and ensure that all involved parties receive copies of the report.

Will liaise with and advise the TAD OIM of the requirements for ensuring the integrity of all Shell and TAD assets.

Will advise and consult with the TLP and TAD OIM regarding the correct deployment of vessels, if any, associated with the mooring operations.

Will be responsible for the detailed briefing of all key personnel involved in the mooring operation prior to the commencement of mooring operations.

Will issue appropriate as-built/as-installed and certification documentation to appropriate parties in due time upon completion of operations.

Participate in Emergency Response planning and drills.

Qualifications & Skills

Master Class 1 Certificate of Competency or equivalent Marine technical background with semi-submersible MODU experience

At least 10+ years’ experience on board semi-sub MODU as Master Mariner, Chief Officer, Mooring Master or Marine Superintendent of Offshore Facilities

Thorough knowledge of floating offshore facilities marine practices, including deck operations, engine room activities, navigation, marine regulations, inspection etc.

Previous experience with hydrocarbons industry and semi-subs is preferred, with a working knowledge of using lateral mooring system kedging for drilling, safety systems and permit to work procedures essential.

Must be knowledgeable and experienced in operation and care of heavy-duty high strength fibre rope

Understanding of relevant legislative requirements with respect to overall operation of semi-subs include of principles and effect of loss stability and its control;

Strong marine operations knowledge in key areas such as: Marine mooring for drilling, semi-submersible and tensioned leg platforms marine systems, environmental protection, safety, reliability, efficiency and regulatory compliance issue;

A tertiary qualification in Naval Architecture or Marine Engineering will be advantageous

SENIOR INSTRUMENT ENGINEER

Job Description

Providing electrical & instrumentation engineering discipline support to the project team for all aspects of the development phase, ensuring the work is performed in compliance with Client EHS and quality requirements, in accordance with the project design basis, within budget and on schedule.

Providing assistance with communication of project activities to government and community parties; and providing input to new development scenarios and development options for exploitation.

Specific activities include but are not limited to:

Providing input and direction to the Contractors electrical & instrumentation design and construction activities, ensuring compliance with the agreed scopes of work and project schedule.

Provide first line response to Contractors electrical & instrumentation engineering technical queries;

Providing electrical & instrumentation engineering support to construction and installation activities;

Provide assistance in the contracting activities, including preparation of tender enquiry documents, preparation of responses to tenderers requests for technical clarifications; and the review and clarification of contract tender documents.

Ensuring compliance with Client project management procedures and technical specification;

Other duties as directed by the Project Engineering Team Leader.

General:

Establish and maintain clear and effective lines of communication between internal departments on all project matters;

Job Description

Providing the Production and Maintenance Team the EHS leadership for the management of the various Operations Contractors.

Develop and implement an EHS Operations Readiness Plan for the Project.

Be a champion for the Project Pre-Startup Safety Reviews.

Develop and Maintain key EHS documents as required and including: SOPS, Emergency Response, EHS working practices, land transportation policy and other support documents as maybe required and as part of the Operations EHS Case.

Undertake activities associated with the EHS Management System, including: Incident Investigation, Project Safety Reviews, MOC, Audits, Inspections, Training and Risk Assessments and update of the Risk Register.

Be a champion for the MOPO and SIMOPS protocols.

Fully participate and take a proactive lead with EHS initiatives and themes such as: COMPANY Rules, Behaviour Based Observation, Stop Work Policy, Competency Assessments.

Be an active duty member for the various emergency response teams, participate in and organise drills and exercises.

As required directly undertake or supervise required EHS administration, for example: EHS Statistics, Reporting, Action Tracking, Input to Synergi and Duty Rotas.

MARINE COORDINATOR

Job Description

Monitor all marine activities insuring that they are conducted within the applicable marine standards and practices and coordinate communication to all parties including marine authorities on the activities. Monitor and audit marine operations and services including ISPS to ensure standards are being complied and maintained. Implement improvement initiatives to enhance value from marine operations

Provide support to all marine emergency response conditions including antipollution capabilities, systems, process and ensure services are in place, ready to support the marine operations and comply with all applicable safety standards to meet the required response commitments.

Participate in Contract and Procurement processes, conduct pre-mobilization inspections on hire of any new vessel routine to ensure the vessel, procedures and crew are able to operate safely and effectively. Also, to provide technical advice on any contracting matters developing work scope, vessels’ specifications, technical evaluations, etc.

Prepare and update Marine Operations Manuals by incorporating corporate CLIENT Marine Operations Policies & Procedures mentor and support masters and crews of Offshore Support Vessels on basic guidelines and requirements for safe and efficient management, coordination and handling of vessels when performing offshore marine operations. Ensure all company practices, approved work procedures, plans and adherence to specific marine requirements.

Timely preparation and issue of all reports, manifests as required in accordance with the given role and responsibilities.

Assist in checking and verifying all essential marine records, drawings, anchor patterns etc. for safe marine installation operations and activities. Assist in managing all record keeping, filing correspondences and maintenance of stake holder requirements and database in relation to marine service, incidents and coordination.

Coordinate all marine spread, operations and marine supports during emergency situations. Assist in ensuring chain of command for internal and external communications related to marine operations.

Motivate, develop, train and supervise external and internal marine Services personnel to ensure the required levels of competence are achieved and maintained.

Observe and report the execution of the marine activities and their contractors fully without exception comply with company’s HSE policies, procedures and industry HSE rules and regulations. Dynamically endure safety awareness amongst staff as stipulated in the company’s safety policy.

Liaise closely with internal Production, Drilling, Project and Construction departments to ensure proper planning and coordination of all marine and logistic services through optimization of marine vessels, etc. including installation, supply and accommodation vessels to support onshore and offshore projects, daily operations and drilling activities.

Responsible for the supervision, planning and implementation of all Marine Service activities required to safely meet production targets, cost control and other key performance indicators and standards. Plan and execute yearly work programs and budgets for marine management & coordination activities, consultancy support services and control expenses within approved department budget.

Qualifications & Skills

Skills / Competencies:

Coordination of communication with all necessary parties such as onshore office, supply base and offshore on the routine work planning and also during specialized marine activities to ensure work plans and expectations are clear and understood.

Monitoring of vessels operating in the vicinity of the company areas of interest to ensure that conflict and risk is minimized and the necessary parties are aware of the activity and plans.

Monitoring marine maintenance and inspection programs for all aspects of the fields to ensure operating integrity is maintained and equipment is fit for purposes especially when most of the marine services are contracted to third parties.

Prioritizing, balancing workload and coordinating support from internal and external resources.

Effective coordination on vessels activities during operations, drilling, construction and projects execution to ensure good practice in accordance to CLIENT HSE compliance.

Qualifications:

The position requires a sound background in a marine (nautical) operations discipline with leadership inter-personal and organizational skills

The individual must be a proven self-starter, capable of devising a work scope and plan from a broad project spectrum, with the initiative to implement the plan to achieve a defined conclusion.

A relevant qualification i.e. a diploma or relevant degree. Minimum of 15 years working experience in oil & gas related operations.

Strong knowledge, skills and experiences in handling vessels and FSO operations, HSE regulations & procedures, marine audits (OVID) & investigations and other offshore oil & gas activities.

Satisfactory command of spoken and written English with ability to communicate effectively at all levels and multi culture environments to supervise people in both a formal and informal manner.

Knowledge of all OVID, IMO, Class, MWS & OCIMF specifications, guidelines and requirements.

Medical Certificates and Safety Training courses applicable to regular crew working on FSO/FPSO.

Job Description

Shared well planning and preparation of mud logging, wellsite geology, wireline logging, MWD/LWD, and coring programmes, contracts and procedures which will be used during the drilling of the wells. Work in close cooperation with CLIENT specialists such as reservoir geologists, petrophysicists, and reservoir engineers in developing wellsite data acquisition programs.

Work in close cooperation with the subsurface team, the Drilling Dept, Supply Chain, and other relevant groups in pursuit of designing and executing drilling campaigns. Attend daily drilling meetings and represent Exploration or project team at meetings. Ensure smooth flow of information between relevant project team and Drilling Dept. Generate daily morning reports summarizing key operations activity and geological events.

Interface with service companies and consultants (wireline, MWD/LWD, mud logging, data logging, biostratigraphic labs, coring, and well testing/ sampling).

Liaise with relevant service company personnel to ensure appropriate and adequate equipment and personnel are assigned for the successful completion of the drilling and data collection programmes in the well. Inspect service company shops/locations during the planning stage to assess safety conditions, equipment maintenance and calibration, and personnel.
