QUANTITY SURVEYOR CUM CONTRACT ADMINISTRATION(Selangor - Bandar Teknologi Kajang)

Responsibilities:

Handle corporate and legal matters with emphasis on company business and contract laws and responsible to manage and assist in all legal administration and matter in all aspects of the legal performance such conveyance, operate, advisory, insurance, contract related matter, tribunal/dispute resolution and any other procedures related to any claims

Monitor the company’s litigation matters closely (if any) with external lawyers

Advise Director, business division and management for the companies in relation to corporate legal & contracts matter/issues

Responsible for the effective and efficient management of legal and contractual risks for the Company.

Identify contractual opportunity for claims and assist business division and management to initiate claim to others and monitor the claim process until the completion

Intellectual property protection as per the applicable laws including without limitation registration and protection of trademarks, patent etc

To perform legal research and to keep abreast of applicable laws relating to the company’s operations and advice on the impact of such changes in operations.

Drafting and reviewing all the commercial contract, agreements and legal documents

Knowledge and exposure in corporate exercise and due diligence

Managing litigation/arbitration matters and dispute resolution for the Company

Representing the Company in negotiation in connection of litigation, agreements, contracts and others with external parties.

Sharing best practices in legal matters, proactively advise the Management team on any potential or prevailing risk from legal point of view and offer mitigation solutions to minimize such risk impact to the Company.

Establish effective legal and contracting policies and processes which comply with the challenges of the business;

Liaison and coordinating with external solicitors on all legal matters of Company.

Lead, supervise, review and develop staff for continuous improvement of legal expertise, professional development and career path planning.

Any other duties and tasks assigned by his/her superior.

Requirements:

Possess a recognized law degree or LLB or equivalent with minimum 5 years working experience in quantity surveyor or contract management for construction or fabrication company

Strong background in corporate conveyancing, contract administration and litigation matters

Preferably from EPCC exposure.

Excellent communication and organisation skills

Trustworthy and able to maintain confidentiality with high integrity, commitment and initiative

Excellent command of both written and spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia

ELECTRICAL & INSTRUMENT ENGINEER(Based at Project Sites in Malaysia)

Responsibilities:

To ensure the design and verification activity is planned and controlled throughout the design process. This includes the verification, preparation, revision and approval process of design deliverables

To measures at every stages of work process in design if there is any negligence aspect related to the design process and should take appropriate control to eliminate the risks or to minimize it.

To delegate specific duties to relevant personnel in engineering department according to their job function or competency and should monitor all the functions being carried out effectively in design engineering stage

Prepare engineering analysis of projects to include: preliminary design, method statements, calculation, reports, and life cycle cost and equipment selection.

Responsible for the overall E&I works for the project

To provide leadership to E&I project staff in quality and material control, progress and meeting clients' and project's needs

Review development plans for compliance with adopted engineering standards and good engineering practices.

To assist Tender Department during bidding stage

To provide technical support to client for any technical matters arising

METERING ENGINEER(Based at Project Sites in Malaysia)

Responsibilities:

Engineering Scope consist of Process, Electrical & Electronic, Piping & Mechanical and Drafting Process:

To provide sizing of piping & instrument based on datasheet.

To source & evaluate for the suitable instruments.

To provide write-out on testing procedures / proposals of the instruments.

Design wiring diagram, cable sizing, cable layout & interfacing of instrument within skid

To select and evaluate Flow Computer, DCS, MMI and MSC

To source & evaluate E&I consumables within skid.

To provide write-out on E&I installation & testing procedures.

To design piping layout & other mechanical design based on Process & E&I design.

Piping layout shall also based on practical installation method, user's safety, maintenance activities.

Transportation and available allocated space of installation.

To integrate Process and E&I testing procedures and produce an overall testing procedure.

To provide write-out on all fabrication related procedures.

To support all drafting works required by the system integration works.

Requirements:

Must possess Degree in Electrical/Instrument/Mechanical Engineering from local / abroad qualified university

Substantial relevant experience, typically at least 10 years of experience in relevant project technical proposal metering tender, design work, construction, commissioning, training & service

Experience mostly on the hydrocarbon production, measurement (flow and level) and distribution including but not limited to :

- Fiscal measurement; metering system

- Production allocation and reconciliation processes

- Multiphase and wet gas measurement

- Terminal Automation System

- Instrumentation, computer and control system.

Team leadership capability & Basic project management skills

Responsible for Project Design Engineering Planning and to ensure that the Project Design Engineering Plan is regularly reviewed, kept up to date and implemented

Providing information and training as may be necessary for draftsman to familiarize them with the design

Supporting document control activities including preparation and review of redline drawings

Participating in and assisting with walk-downs of the various systems in preparation for hand-over

Requirements:

Candidate shall possess at least a Degree in Mechanical Engineering
