Job Title : 2nd Mate/DPO

Job Title : Crane Operator

Candidates Requirement :

Five (5) years experience as an offshore crane operator up to 1000 Mt capacity.

The Technical Manager (TM) is responsible for the safe, efficient and sound technical delivery of projects.

Candidates Requirement :

The instigation and co-ordination of Job Safety Analysis and Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA) reviews relating to the ROV Systems under their control, including the compilation of Risk Assessment/FMEA reports. Periodic review of such reports to ensure their accuracy and status. Support Coordinator to be copied on all correspondence related to these issues.

Briefing the clients representative fully on the operational capability and limitations of the relevant ROV and associated equipment.

Working with the Captain as required to optimise vessel positioning on the work site.

Ensuring that all personnel involved in the operation are carrying out their appointed task. This also extends to requesting removal of individuals not considered able to undertake the role which they have been assigned.

Ensuring that all equipment and spares are in a satisfactory condition and being maintained as such to ensure efficient operations. This also extends to reviewing the amount of spares held for the forthcoming operations taking into account region of operation, duration of project etc.

Carrying out general ROV duties as required.

Carry out detailed briefing with relief Superintendent or provide detailed handover notes if no overlap possible.

Job Title : Shift Supervisor

Candidates Requirement :

The holder must have a minimum of 5 years relevant offshore experience in a supervisory position undertaking work commensurate with that of the Sapura 3000 and covering both surface and subsea marine construction operations as follows: Rigid and Flexible Pipelay, Heavy lift operations inclusive of jacket installation, Anchored and DP positioned vessels and barges, Diving and ROV Operations.

Complete the worksite familiarization course for Shift Supervisor.

Successful completion of the SapuraAcergy CAAP scheme for this position.

Current valid medical and survival training as appropriate for the position.

Formal engineering qualification or a suitable level of operational experience in offshore construction commensurate with the operations of the Sapura 3000.

Proficient in written and spoken English.

Proficient in Office IT software, i.e. word processing and similar software packages a good level of practical computer operational skills.

Excellent interpersonal, communication and reporting skills.

Committed to following and promoting a high level of compliance in HSE and Quality standards at the Company worksites with the ability to lead by example at all times.

A proven ability to manage and lead multi disciplined and diverse ethnic human resources.

Ability to plan and manage projects and diverse work scopes in an efficient manner.

Responsibilities :

The Shift Supervisor shall ensure that safety is paramount and that all work is performed in a safe manner, he shall lead by example in this respect at all times without comprises. In particular, he shall ensure HSE compliance (project and corporate procedures and policy's) with an emphasis on good working practice and adherence to PPE policy. This shall also include subcontractors, client and any other third parties.

Attend shifts briefs / JSA's prior to commencing his allocated work period / shift as required.

Deliver Tool box talks, JSA's and pre-shift briefs to personnel under his command prior to them commencing work.

Ensure that all personnel under his command work safely and in accordance with the Company policies and procedures covering HSE and Quality without compromise.

Ensure that Personnel under his command carry out Tool box talks and JSA's as appropriate.

Work in accordance with the Task Plan and ensure that any necessary deviations are managed in accordance with the Management of Change Procedure.

Ability to work in changing meteorological conditions without compromising safety or quality.

Report all incidents and hazards to the OCM and / or Captain. He shall participate in incident investigations as required.

Be familiar with the ERP and his responsibilities.

Become familiar with all aspects of the Sapura 3000 operational capabilities.

Ensure that a high level of housekeeping prevails in all working areas and promote / encourage the same standards with his subordinates.

Recognize the importance of quality control in the execution of projects.

Develop and lead a high performance team by defining clear roles and responsibilities in his subordinates. He shall ensure they are suitably qualified and trained for the work they are carrying out. He shall monitor and feedback on the competence of his subordinates.

Define the necessary personnel requirements to complete specific tasks and delegate responsibilities as appropriate.

Interface and work closely with Marine, Engineering, ROV, and subcontractors and ensure adequate flow of communications.

Plan, supervise and co-ordinate work activities in a timely manner such that adequate resources are available when required. Directly manage the Welding Supervisor, and the Front and Back and Foreman, highlighting potential dangers and safety issues through participation and daily tool box meetings.

Become familiar with the working procedures and task plans for the work activities in hand or planned.

Define the necessary equipment requirements to complete specific tasks and liaise with the Shift Supervisor Engineer for co-ordination of all equipment maintenance and planned maintenance shutdowns during production.

Record and report on the use of consumables as appropriate.

Supervise all non routine lifting operations as appropriate and in accordance with the company procedures.

Personally supervise pipelay operations to ensure correct positioning of pipelines on bends and over crossings as appropriate.

On critical operations request assistance from the OM / Captain as appropriate.

Liaise with Vessel Captain in monitoring adverse weather conditions.

Liaise with the Field Engineer regarding project requirements and adherence to specifications.

Become familiar with all relevant company procedures pertaining to his position and give guidance on any task that he may be asked to undertake or delegate.

Maintain an attitude and philosophy of 'continual improvement' and actively seek out improvements in operational methodologies and processes.

Encourage all personnel under his command to realize their full potential and assist them wherever possible.
