Job Description
What you will be doing:
Responsible for support of applications used to run ExxonMobil’s global Oil & Gas facilities.

What you should have:
5+ years of recent experience with the technology listed below:
- Tieto Energy Components Production/Transport/Sales modules (required) / Revenue module (desirable)
- PL/SQL for Oracle
- Jasper (required) & Crystal Reports (desirable)
Experience in programming languages – Java (preferable) or .NET (desirable)
Preferably experience with OsiSoft product and Siemens XHQ product
Experience with end user application support
Experience with the Company’s problem management system (BMC Remedy)
Experience with working with global IT service lines (e.g. Infrastructure, Database Administration) to resolve complex issues
Experience with consulting with business lines to deliver IT solutions
Experience in regional and global projects

Heat Transfer Engineer

Job Description
What you will be doing:

As an experienced hire engineer you will be involved in providing daily technical support as part of a team working on various engineering projects, which include petroleum refinery fixed equipment pressure vessel design and analysis, piping flexibility analysis, heat exchanger technical support, fitness for service assessments, and operational problem solving.

What you should have:

• A Bachelor of Engineering or higher degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Preferably 2-5 years of practical experience doing technical work in Mechanical Engineering in the petrochemical industry.
• Familiar with different types of heat exchangers.
• Experience with Persimmons model will be an added advantage.
• Experience with HTRI will be an added advantage.

Safety Facilities Engineer

Instrumentation Engineer

Job Description
What you will be doing:

• Provide leadership and project Quality Control support for Instrumentation & Control Systems (I&CS) as part of large scale process plant investments and/or control system specialty projects as well as consult and work with operating sites and projects.
• Provide I&CS leadership, coordination, guidance, mentoring, and supervision for all phases of capital project planning, design, execution, and startup as well as lead multifunctional planning team.
• Provide assistance to multiple project teams and work with project managers to provide support on reliability reviews, safety system reviews, equipment strategy development and turnaround maintenance reviews
• Provide support on construction activities on major projects
• Oversee development of tools needed for continuous improvement of work process
• Interpret and incorporate industry information and advances

What you should have:

• Bachelor of Engineering or higher degree in Electrical or Instrumentation Engineering
• Preferably 10-15 years of previous experience in the Oil & Gas or EPC industry including in roles such as:
o Lead I&CS Design Engineer on major project
o I&CS Project Engineer on a major project
o QC engineer on major project
o Project Manager-Development on Control System projects
o Technical support for I&CS at operating plants
o Safety System design and implementation on major projects
o Project construction and start-up support
• Ability to execute complex assignments including facilities planning of large Control System projects
• Effective management of multifunctional teams
• Knowledge of other related skills or disciplines and ability to integrate with them
• Knowledge of key I&CS technologies such as:
o Design of Control System and Instrumentation Power/ UPS requirements
o Control Valve sizing
o Design of Local Panels (Compressor control, Boiler control etc.)
o Compressor control including Anti-surge control
o Tank Gauging systems
o Programmable Logic Controller based systems
o Safety System Design and implementation
• Familiarity with project work processes such as peer reviews, quality assurance, risk assessment/management

Optimization Engineer

Job Description
What you will be doing:
Model development activities using simulation platforms with input from site/subject matter experts
Deploy developed model-based applications using current and historical operations data, process flow diagrams, design guidelines
Pro-active sustainment of assigned technologies or applications to deliver value
Engage in monitoring activities and meetings to provide technical/applications support to operating sites for deployed applications.
Identify opportunities to improve application health and synergies with other overlapping technologies

Contribute to the development, packaging, and documentation of in-house tools & applications

What you should have:

Working knowledge of unit operations; fractionation, distillation towers, heat exchangers, reactors, etc. and how to complete material & heat balances
Ability to read a process flow diagramPID
