Job Description

Lead the respective group of operations technicians to ensure safe and efficient implementation of the preventive and corrective maintenance tasks of operations equipment.

Impart knowledge and experience to junior operations technicians to familiarize them in the application and use of safety management systems in day to day tasks.

Qualifications & Skills

Diploma in engineering or equivalent qualifications

More than 8 years in the same field in the oil and gas industry preferably in an offshore environment.

Experience in using the CMMS/SAP to record maintenance tasks and equipment history, execution of PM/CM tasks, overhaul, troubleshooting and basic analysis of equipment failures

QA/QC INSPECTOR/SPECIALIST (2 paxs)

Commencement of work: August / September 2015
Duration: Two (2) years

Job Description

Organize, supervise and track equipment ready state and serve as a constant Quality Control (QC) enforcement presence on behalf of CLIENT. Enforcement will involve documentation of non-conformances related to inspection and qualification of the equipment in service company workshop/facility locations.

Act on behalf of CLIENT as Third Party Inspector (TPI) throughout all drilling/completion make-up related including testing activities.

Enforcement involve documentation of non-conformances related to inspection and qualification of the equipment in service company workshop/facility locations as followings:

Evaluate contractor/supplier general performance for compliance to DS-1, contractor/supplier practices, and CLIENT contractual requirements.

Review all drawing drafted/submitted by the vendor for compliance to DS-1 and CLIENT requirement, prior to start any fabrication/machining works on any equipment/tools/subs ordered by CLIENT.

Document quality gaps, non-conformance and advice CLIENT via email, fax or verbal communication any points of concern. Documentation, via written and digital photographs to be pursued as required.

QA/QC Inspector/Specialist must be responsible throughout all drilling/completion assembly make-up related including testing activities and running tools, AND witness dimensional inspection, NDE of critical components, hydrostatic and stack-up test, monitor preservation, crating/packing, storage and preparation for shipment is highly required for Wellheads (Subsea and Surface) with running tools.

Qualifications & Skills

Minimum 10 years experience for the past ten (10) years in performing quality work as stated in Scope of Work with technical certificate in the relevant discipline.

Must be fully trained and have a clear understanding and working knowledge of DS-1 Standards with evidence of valid certification.

Capable of operating and maintaining each piece of the CONTRACTOR Equipment that are on the WORKSITE here the WORK is being performed/ His duties and responsibilities shall include but are not limited to the following:-

Auditing of suppliers

Drill pipe and BHA qualification

Rotary equipment qualification (Rental & Service Suppliers)

Lifting and Handling gear checking

Failure Investigation

Equipment Qualification and Pre-Load Checks & Return Checks

Other equipment rental & services checking

Ensures that the CONTRACTOR Equipments is properly serviced and maintained at the completion of each job.

Completes the post-job administrative work and submits to CLIENT representative in charge of onsite operations.

Able to troubleshoot any mechanical and electrical problems of the CONTRACTOR Equipment on the WORK SITE

INSTRUMENT DESIGN ENGINEER

Commencement of work: Immediate
Duration: Two (2) years

Job Description

Plan and prepare the instrument design, engineering, procurement packages for instrument projects and assigned multi-discipline clients projects to maintain and enhance HSSE, Integrity, Reliability and Profitability.

Tests instrument designed components, equipment and systems.

Provide engineering and technical advice and assistance to construction and manufacture team to support development of installation, commissioning and close out of projects.

Develop cost estimates for projects to support project development.

Develop execution strategies for instrument projects and assigned multi-discipline instrument design and projects to achieve project objectives.

Develop the initial bill of material; prepare technical layouts and drawings for proposal estimation. Review documents and technical correspondence submitted in the proposals stage, issue inquiry requisitions, review technology-commercial vendor offers, prepare equipment, material and man-hour estimates.

Prepare equipment and material specifications and data sheets, develop detailed engineering calculations and drawings including the preparation of the design basis, Equipment system specifications, Installation Hook-up Drawings, Instrument Plot Plans, Control Panel and other design and layout calculations and drawings.

Participate and provide guidance in the preparation of plot plans; organize the issuance of engineering drawings and technical documents, coordinate with other engineering discipline in the design data inputs.

Supervise the review of design calculations, ensure equipment specifications meet with client equipment specifications and are within budgeted costs.

Meet with clients and representatives, inspect works and workshops when required, provide dispatch clearance and test certificates. Participate in material take off activities, identify irregularities and shortfalls, and take corrective action when required.

Develops rough and finished sketches of research and instruments parts, or equipment from instructions, and adapts and modifies sketches and blueprints based on applicable properties and mathematical calculations. Tests, calibrates, and inspects prototype instruments and assemblies.

Identify all necessary utilities including drains, tubing systems for instrumentation systems and ensure that they are properly designed.

Review contract requirements for project execution, organize the preparation of the Technical Document Register, identify requirements and scope of work; review specifications Process Data Sheets, Piping and Tubing Material Specifications, Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams, Plot plans, General Arrangement drawings, Review area classification drawings or layout drawings and other relevant documents.

Qualifications & Skills

EDUCATION
Bachelor’s degree in Instrument or Mechanical Engineering

WORK EXPERIENCE
Minimum five (5) years of experience as an Instrument Design Engineer and projects engineering in the oil and gas industrial including five (5) years in a supervisory position.

SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGES

Must have good credential in various instrument design and specialised in wellhead control panel layout & design.

Must have extensive knowledge in chemical injection SKID design.

Must have strong skills in analytical thinking, communication and interpersonal understanding, customer focus, entrepreneurial acting/initiative, team leadership/collaboration, results orientation, organization awareness, and change orientation/management.

Strong knowledge in engineering, purchasing, accounting and construction practices with respect to the Instrument Design engineering environment.

Demonstrate continuing maintenance of professional development and knowledge of current and emerging technical solutions.

Knowledge of operation and maintenance of power system distribution systems.

Skill in diagnosing, testing and trouble shooting, repairing, instrument equipment.

Demonstrates strong technical and design engineering knowledge and makes effective use of technical support.

Ability to achieve maximum time effectiveness and meet deadline.

Excels in developing innovative and creative solutions.

Ability to establish strategic plans of action which are timely, realistic and positive.

Must be able to work independently and resourceful with minimum supervision.

Must be able to communicate effectively both orally and in writing English.

Must be competent in the use of Microsoft words, excel and powerpoint or equivalent. Experience with AutoCAD and 3D drawing software.

FSO CONSTRUCTION SUPERINTENDENT

Duration: 1 year + 1 year extension option

Job Description

The incumbent shall be responsible for project management and execution of all the repair life extension and conversion activities of trading tankers into the Floating Storage and Offloading (FSO) facility associated with the CLIENT project with single point responsibility.

Provide leadership and direction in all aspects of construction management to ensure that the project are:

implemented in such a manner that all internal and applicable regulatory, safety and environmental standards and requirements are satisfied;

properly scoped, engineered, planned, constructed, installed and closed out;

achieve or exceed key performance objectives for EHS, schedule, cost and quality;

Demonstrate the leadership to the contractors to meet the project goal by delivering within the agreed time frame without jeopardizing quality, safety and budget.

Specific activities include but are not limited to:

Supervise and monitor critical activities such as heavy lift for installation during planning and execution

Lead multi discipline team in repair life extension, conversion construction, installation, hook up and pre-commissioning activities.

Management and daily supervision of Contractors responsible for the repair life extension, fabrication and installation of new FSO facilities e.g. Turret, boiler and etc.

Ensuring the project is delivered in accordance with the agreed schedule, cost and project quality standards;

Maintain full coordination within site and reporting to other project offices by providing construction input to the planner for weekly and monthly progress report.

Ensuring compliance with COMPANY and regulatory contracting processes, project management procedures and technical specification;

Ensuring COMPANY project control requirements, including change management, are complied with and in particular, providing accurate and timely schedule and cost information for the project.

Actively support the COMPANY commitment to Environment, Health and Safety including:

adopting and promoting personal work practices and procedures in accordance with the COMPANY Environment, Health and Safety Management System standards;

provide leadership to project teams on EHS issues;

ensuring that EHS considerations are adequately taken into account in the design, construction, and installation of the facilities; and

Continuously communicate to contractors the COMPANY expectations for EHS

Mobility to be based at contractor’s sites consistent with the overall construction responsibility

Must have thorough understanding of contract development and implementation.

Experience:

Minimum of 10 years’ experience (relevant) associated with FPSO/FSO facility for the repair life extension, conversion, and fabrication and installation activities.

At least 5 years’ experience of oil and gas construction activity.

Experience as Client’s Site Representative in supervision and management of FSO/FPSO conversion, construction, repair and life extension activities.

Experience in EPCIC contract execution.
