Roads & Highways:
Design: Major Roads and highways geometric design experience (grade separated, at grade and intersection design; proven experience of regional/local design codes and standards); design detailing for road cross sections, inclusive of road utility corridor provision.
Road signage and road markings design according to local authority standards; road storm water design. Knowledge of road pavement design methods and street lighting design.
Traffic Engineering design backgrounds experience: tripe generation assessment; traffic analysis, transportation planning, feasibility studies, highway capacity analysis
Construction: 7-15 years experience with roads construction, supervision of roads bulk earthworks, roads storm water and underground utilities installation road pavement layer works construction, including asphalt surfacing, construction of intersections Underground utility/infrastructure:
Design: Proven experience in design of gravity storm and sewer networks and pipelines, including storm water storage tanks / attenuation of storm outflow with latest modeling software.
Experience in design of pressurized (wet) utilities (potable water, firefighting supply, Irrigation, district cooling) - engineering design calculations, layout using the latest hydraulic modeling/analysis software.
Utility clash resolving experience is important
Construction: Construction supervision experience on installation of wet/dry underground utility infrastructure (small/medium/large diameter piping; utility chambers; road crossings; service diversions; temporary services supply) including excavation, installation methods, backfilling and compaction to appropriate construction standards. Coordination with building connection provisions, connection to main supplies external to site; provision of temporary utility supplies.
General design related experience
Project Design & Management from Concept stage, though Preliminary, Detail Design stage, including Tender stage (including contract documentation) through to construction. Ability to control quality of design output through all stages whilst adhering to local authority design regulations and standards.
Experience in Design review is essential
Responsibilities included identification of project proposals/scope of works, planning design, estimation and preparation of tender documents
Ability to prepare cost estimates and bill of Quantities and to analyse/review the same.
Ability to coordinate with Client/Project Management team during project design stages through progress/design meetings, workshop sessions and external project stakeholders
Ability to lead and manage a team of infrastructure design engineers to meet project deadlines through all Concept/Preliminary design stages through to Detail design, Tendering and Construction documentation issue, applying design solutions with cost effective approach while satisfying the Client requirements .
Capability and experience in doing the required coordination with the relevant governmental and semi governmental authorities and parties to obtain the data, record drawings and approvals .
Electrical Infrastructure design/construction experience
Experience in dealing with electrical infrastructure services, including EHV/HV cabling, containment, Telecom Services, Cable Jointing spaces, duct banks, cable corridors.
Must have experience in designing EHV/HV cable routing including cable tunnels.
Able to perform cable sizing, heat calculation and coordination with various services crossing.
Candidate should preferably have 3-5 year’s experience with general construction works on electrical (HV/MV/ELV) infrastructure (cabling and related work)
