About the Job:

Job Purpose:

To drive sales growth and sustained long-term profitability by establishing and retaining a life-long relationship with existing and new customers via the IKEA website and the online shopping initiative

Secure an easy online purchasing process by understanding and matching customers' needs and expectations to those of the store

Actively work towards fulfilling the tasks of the store:
* Act as a highly efficient sales mechanism
* Show online home furnishing solutions
* Serve as a well-qualified home furnishing specialist

Commercial
* Ensuring that all orders placed online are processed within a maximum of 12 hours
* Working with the sales and home delivery teams to ensure that each and every order placed online is converted to a sale as soon as possible
* Working with Logistics to ensure stock availabilit
* Working with IT / Usama on a daily basis to ensure there are no system errors (either web or IVR based)
* Analysing customer feedback to identify root causes, taking action to improve short and long-term customer satisfaction
* Ensuring routines / processes are in place  and that they are regularly followed up and adhered too - this includes exchange and refund
* Producing daily sales reports / weekly KPI reports

Financial
* Monitoring the performance of E-commerce against agreed goals
* Delivering on agreed goals and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) by:
* Creating KPIs and working with the team to improve upon the results
* Actively increasing the conversion rate
* By controlling costs through working in a lean, simple, cost-conscious way using good examples, solutions and colleagues to discover more effective ways of working.

Customer
* The priority is to work with the team to secure an easy online buying process that will make it easy and convenient for our customers to shop at all times and encourage repeat visits to the website
* Ensure that customers understand the IVR process and feel comfortable using it
* Analyse feedback from the customers and work with the team and other functions to make improvements to our customers' shopping experience by securing an easy online buying process
