Arabian Bemco Contracting Company has an opportunity for a Project Director - Combined Cycle Power Plant to join the team.
Location: KSA-Riyadh, Dammam
Remunerations: Basic salary + full benefits
Key Responsibilities/Functions:
1. Prime customer contact and accountability to management team for project implementation, construction, commissioning and support.
2. Define project scope per contract
3. Develop project plan and schedule (internally and with customer)
4. Secure and manage Bemco, third party and customer resources to implement project plan.
5. Lead regular status update calls on program (internal and with customer)
6. Manage risks and changes as required.
7. Manage/provide issue resolution within Company and with the customer.
8. Provide regular status and financial reports to joint project team as well as joint management team
9. Obtain project acceptance from internal and customer stakeholders.
10. Ensure that the project is delivered within the approved budget and profitability forecast. On the basis of the Cost Breakdown Structure (CBS), manage the cost to complete and cost to control.
11. Structure and provide project documentation in accordance with standards and approved by all relevant parties, assuring quality and alignment with entire project.
12. Ensure any variation to the project scope is clearly recognized and approved.
13. Define and optimize resource allocation to the project.
14. Assign tasks and missions.
15. Secure task execution subcontracted to internal or external subcontractor as well as site construction activities: Civil, electrical and mechanical.
16. Anticipate risk and evaluate related financial and customer satisfaction impacts.
17. Set up corrective action plan and manage risks mitigation.
Accountable for forecast accuracy, Respond to scope creep by immediately escalating modifications to the project scope.
18. Modify standard Risk Management plan to fit project.
19. Propose reserves and contingencies
Manage project, implement corrective and improvement actions.
20. Manage tactical contingency plans.
21. Manage project, monitor and control progress against a baseline plan.
22. Allocate tasks and priorities as needed.
Provide the necessary Project Metrics (Effort to date, Estimated Cost to Complete, Estimated effort at Completion).
23. Contracts Management.
24. Optimize staff utilization.
25. Ensure Project closing.
