This is an exciting and unique opportunity to become an integral member of a diverse team that will be part of a very large (~700,000 users) Enterprise Resource Planning PeopleSoft (ERP) implementation for the United States Air Force (USAF). The focus of the implementation will be in the areas of PeopleSoft Human Capital Management (HCM), Payroll, and Financials. This is a modernization initiative that will greatly improve USAF user capability. You will be supporting an extremely high visibility program while providing mission critical support to the USAF War Fighters on an innovative project that offers opportunity to be part of something on a grand scale. Our team is providing Advisory & Assistance support services to the Government, setting up for a successful deployment of the system. We will be working side by side with the Air Force within the Government Program Management Office (PMO), as a valued business Partner. We will review and consult on PeopleSoft ERP activities and artifacts provided by the selected Prime Contractor who is responsible for Blueprinting, Design, Development, and capability delivery to the Air Force. We are seeking an experienced PeopleSoft HCM ERP Technical Subject Matter Expert to support the development and deployment of the Air Force ERP solution. Responsibilities: As a Principal ERP Technical Engineer your duties will include, but are not limited to the following: • Support of Blueprinting (fit/gap analysis) between the as-is and to-be solution • Mapping requirements to release capability while employing a minimal customization strategy • Review and comment on proposed functional/capability configuration for each of the product modules • Business Process Engineering and Re-engineering review and evaluation • Evaluation and feedback on technical design documents, test plans and scenarios, and other associated artifacts • Participate in Conference Room Pilot (CRP) sessions at contractor locations in continental US (CONUS) or at other Air Force locations as directed by the PMO. Education: Bachelor’s and 5 years experience required. Experience: Five (5) years experience with PeopleSoft 8.9+ HCM and/or Finance modules (Tools 8.48+). Demonstrated ability to code and troubleshoot programs in SQR, AppEngine and PeopleCode. Prior implementation experience required. • Administration of Web (Weblogic) and Application Server (SYSADMIN) • Performance Tuning (SQL, SQR, Web/App Server Configuration) • UNIX/Linux Scripting and Windows Server administration • PeopleCode, SQR, SQL, Application Engine, Integration Broker • RDBMS (Oracle 10g or later) • MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Powerpoint) • In-depth testing including user reviews for new and modified systems Desired: • PeopleSoft 9.1 or 9.2 Implementation or Upgrade Experience • Experience with PeopleTools 8.53 • Version Control (Quest STAT) • Networking (Desktop, WAN, LAN, Firewall) • Interfaces (SFTP, PGP, XML, CSV, Flat Files) • COBOL (Compile, Link, Troubleshoot) • User Productivity Kits (UPKs) Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications: • Thoroughly versed in the design, implementation, test and deployment of PeopleSoft ERP HCM version 9.x from a technical perspective. • Blueprinting and Fit/Gap analysis experience • A team player able to work & deliver in a highly-matrixed organization • Excellent written and verbal communications skills • Working knowledge of Industry best practices in PeopleSoft ERP implementations is desirable Must be able to work in a team atmosphere.
