JOB DESCRIPTION
JOB PURPOSE
To provide leadership and direction for the Sand Control Product Line across the Eastern Hemisphere to continually develop the business and achieve financial and operational objectives as determined by the Eastern Hemisphere Sand Control Technical Sales Manager. The role has responsibility for the sand control completions element of the EH WCT business plan. The particular focus will be to develop and roll out Weatherford completion systems.
ACCOUNTABILITIES
Establish and drive the financial, operational and functional targets to achieve business growth and profitability as determined by the Eastern Hemisphere Sand Control Technical Sales Manager
Responsible for the planning, operations and growth in the Product Line to deliver the Eastern Hemisphere part of the Global Completions Plan. Specific responsibility for technical support of assigned areas.
Responsible in conjunction with Regional and Country Business unit functions for the development, roll out and execution of the product line business plan. The business plan will encompass development; of an effective sales force; of effective delivery teams; of a product development strategy encompassing the requirements of Global functions including global product line, product engineering & supply chain.
Responsible in conjunction with Regional and Country Business functions & WCT Global Account Managers for direct client engagement and development of strategic account and opportunity pursuit.
Ensure that QHSSE policies and practices are embedded in the organisation to ensure a safe working environment for all staff
Responsible in conjunction with other product line technical sales managers and service quality manager for cross training within and out with the EH Completions team whether in augmentation of sales skills, technical skill or operational skills.
Responsible in conjunction with the EH Proposals and tender manager for the development of such support material, processes & direct support as is necessary to ensure world class technical responses from WCT in pursuit of major tender and proposal opportunities.
SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE
Extensive experience in Sand Control matters not limited to well design theory, operational requirements and commercial drivers, relating to Screens, Tools, Fluids, Pumping, Perforating and Completion Systems as well as the ability to differentiate competitors’ products.
Experience at a strategic management level within the Oil and Gas Industry across several geographies
Range and depth of experience in business management including financial management and budget control, people management and safety leadership
Strategic, Operational & commercial business knowledge – market savvy
Leadership capabilities & management skills in a matrix organization – the ability to work effectively across a matrix to deliver results for internal and external clients
Ability and track record in driving improvements in market share, client retention, account penetration and the acquisition of new clients in alignment with the business and corporate strategy.
