GWT Corp. is an international corporation, which is home to three prominent fashion brands, FERI, POSH and FERI MOSH. Currently specializing in Jewelry and fashion accessories.
GWT is looking for a Graphic Designer to join our expanding team. We are looking for a multi-talented designer with strong fashion, and/or product photography experience. Some education in the Fashion Industry is definitely an asset.
JOB DUTIES:
o Design of in-house publications: Catalogs and look books
o Media kits, informational booklets and training
o Advertisements for 3rd party publications
o Marketing material (Banners, flyers, postcards)
o Social media management and content creation. Plan out weekly Instagram, Facebook and Twitter posts for all GWT brands (GWT Corp, FERI, POSH & FERI MOSH).
o Corporate collateral: business cards, pamphlets, logos
o Design website graphics (banners, site maps, UX design) as needed for corporate site and customer back office site.
o E-marketing material (flyers, banners, templates) and preparing e-blast (weekly for both VIP customers and members)
o Photograph products as needed – Ensure all angles are properly illustrated and product is photographed accurately. Edit photographs for print and web use according to current standards.
o Photo shoot coordination, art direction & styling.
o Creating Powerpoints for corporate and also user use.
o Assisting other departments with graphic design needs as required.
SKILLS REQUIRED:
– Graphic Design skills: knowledge of basic design principles
– Knowledge of PhotoShop, InDesign, Illustrator and other Adobe Suite programs.
– Photography skills such as an understanding of lighting techniques, studio set-up, camera settings etc are a definite asset
– Copy writing skills so to be able to write copy for certain projects that will effectively communicate the marketing message.
– Social Media management skills or past experience is definitely an asset
– Great interpersonal skills to work with the other team members and collaborate on projects.
– Strong written and verbal communication skills
EDUCATION:
– Degree or Diploma in Fashion Communication or Design
– Degree or Diploma in Graphic Design (WITH Fashion based experience)
– Other Relevant post secondary education
